Keira Knightley: A Duchess in Disguise
Keira Knightley looked like real-life royalty as she arrived at the Toronto Film Festival red carpet premiere of her new film ‘The Duchess.’ Keira wore a stunning gray dress by Alexander McQueen but it was her breath taking Bvlgari earrings she wore as barrettes in her hair that added an extra twinkle to the sexy starlet. “You can’t not wear sparkling things,” Keira jokes. In 'The Duchess', Keira plays the role of Georgiana, the Duchess of Devonshire, who was the distant relative to the late
Keira Knightley's New Movie 'Do'-2 Feet of Hair!
It's "ET's" all new interview at the Toronto Film Festival with movie royalty, Keira Knightley, talking about her transformation into 18th Century royalty in her new film 'The Duchess.'
Keira tells "ET's" Jann Carl, her wig alone required 2 feet of hair and 2 feet of feathers!
The head dress was so massive that it needed its own wooden stand to be placed on! Not to mention her costume could hide a small family, she says!
"It was so heavy I couldn't keep my head up,"
The Duchess: Trailer B
The scandalous rise and fall of the Georgina, Duchess of Devonshire. Like Princess Diana, her direct descendant, she was beautiful, glamorous and adored by the public.
Keira Knightley will play the 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, duchess of Devonshire. An ancestor of Princess Di, she lived an extravagant, profligate and promiscuous life of political and romantic intrigue, becoming an important powerbroker amid Britain's ruling elite but also running up catastrophic gambling debts. She was alternately
REVIEW: “The Duchess” (**1/2)
There’s a startling scene near the beginning of “The Duchess,” in which the teenaged Georgiana Spencer (Keira Knightley) has intercourse for the first time with her new husband, the much older Duke of Devonshire (Ralph Fiennes). Ordered, with dispassionate reserve, to strip naked and lie on the bed, Georgiana trembles with positive terror as her husband enters her with all the wordless efficiency of a man fulfilling a prescribed brief; Knightley’s exquisite face gradually crumbles as it dawns on her
Keira Knightley Talks "The Duchess" - VIDEO
The Duchess premiered at the Toronto Film Festival on Sunday, and opens in limited release Sept. 19, 200. It follows the life of 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, who was reviled for her extravagant political and personal life (some critics are drawing comparisons to Princess Diana). Here are a couple of clips of Keira Knightley and director Saul Dibb talking about the film, followed by the theatrical trailer:

Prince William & Prince Harry….more turmoil.
Prince William and Prince Harry are said to be devastated by a Paris-based car firm’s plans to sell the car in which their late mother Princess Diana died.
Experts believe the Mercedes, which has been in a secure police compound in London since 2005, could fetch up to £1 million. The Princes would rather it be disposed of “privately and discreetly”, according to royal sources.

Ashlee Simpson's 'three B's'
Ashlee Simpson told Taylor Swift on the red carpet that she was wearing a dress by Alexander McQueen.
"You look so beautiful," said Taylor. "It's the three Bs - the boobs, the belly and the booty," said the very pregnant Ashlee. She added that in looking for dresses she realized, "You have to pick ones that don't stick to your belly."

OH MY GOD KATY PERRY WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??
You know what Katy? Fine. I’m done. You’ve had your stupid “I Kissed a Girl” song which grates my cheese in the most excruciating way “Hey! Look at me! I can pretend to be a lesbian so my boyfriend thinks I’m hot!” and your equally stupid (and even more infuriatingly titled) “Ur So Gay.” But this? This is the LAST STRAW.
Do you see what you’re wearing? That’s right. You are wearing a too-tight twosie playsuit, knock off butterfly hair orna

Diana stopped trusting her true friends before she died says Elton John in 'most candid interview' ever
Emotional Sir Elton John struggled to hide his grief as he watched footage of Princess Diana's funeral on a TV special - but claimed she had been "airy fairy" with her true friends.
The superstar singer had to ask the cameras to stop filming while footage of him performing 'Candle In The Wind' at the ceremony was played.
A show promising Sir Elton "talking more candidly than ever before" also saw him open up about his battle with drugs and bulimia and confusion over his sexuality.
The Duchess (12A)
There are few surprises in The Duchess, other than the director: Saul Dibb, who made punchy street drama Bullet Boy before going upmarket with the BBC's The Line of Beauty. In The Duchess, the sobriety of Dibb's approach makes for an intelligent addition to the historical canon: though perhaps here I, to use an appropriately 18th-century expression, damn with faint praise.
Based on the biography by Amanda Foreman, the film recounts the life of Georgiana, Duchess of Devo

Shoes-ing the Right Pair: Top Shoe Trends for Fall 2008
I love all kinds of shoes, from flip flops to stilettos to my trusty Chuck Taylors. I love my tried and true (black pumps, ballet flats, etc.) and I love finding fun and funky shoes to add a lil’ oomph to an outfit.
