If you’ve been enduring sleepless nights wondering what a duet between Karen O and Ol’ Dirty Bastard would sound like then get ready to rest easy. The debut album from N.A.S.A. (North America/South America) is nearly upon us, and it includes a number of collaborations that read like a mashup artists’ dream come true.
The band is made up of Squeak E. Clean (composer/producer Sam Spiegel) and DJ Zegon (skateboarder Ze Gonzales), who have been working on the album, titled The Spirit of Apol

Hip-hop star Kanye West returned to the MTV Video Music Awards this year as a gift to his late mother Donda, after previously vowing to boycott the event.
The hitmaker insisted he would snub the MTV prizegiving after the poor treatment he claimed he received at the 2007 event.
But West admits his mother - who died last November at age 58 from plastic surgery complications - inspired him to reconsider.

Rapper Kanye West drew inspiration for his new video Love Lockdown from Christian Bale's killer character in 2000 thriller American Psycho.
The Stronger hitmaker unveiled the promo for the new single - on which he sings all the way through - on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday.
And West admitted that he based parts of his musical creation on the 1980s Wall Street murderer Patrick Bateman that Bale portrays in the big-screen adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis' novel.

NASA album featuring Kanye West, MIA gets release date
NASA have revealed the tracklisting and release date for their highly anticipated forthcoming album featuring Kanye West, MIA, Tom Waits, Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O and David Byrne, among others.
The album, which is the culmination of five years of work by Squeak E Clean and DJ Zegon who make up NASA (North America/South America), is called 'The Spirit Of Apollo' and is due out in the US on February 17, 2009.

Sorry, all. I saw this entire video described as a “clip” yesterday. I would have posted it then had I known it was the entire video. Oh wells. I watched Kanye on Ellen yesterday, damn, that boy is shy! I like the hair on him, though. I wish he would smile more. Boo. Don’t be so sad Kanye. The only time he lit up was when he talked about his new album. Can. Not. Wait.
The video? I think it goes with the song. Both are pretty damn original. It’s very artistic. Well done.
