First rumors, flew about Russell Crowe or Colin Farrell playing the legendary sidekick now Jude Law is apparently taking on the role. Robert Downey Jr. is Holmes, and the film will be directed by Guy Ritchie.  The actor is finalizing a deal to portray the famous Baker Street detective’s sidekick Dr. John H. Watson.
