Just Asking: Were we the only ones who noticed ... [Rachel Zoe]
Just Asking: Were we the only ones who noticed the prominently placed Restylane commercial during last night's episode of The Rachel Zoe Project? And was it at all bizarre that the ad placed on almost exclusive emphasis on filling in wrinkles surrounding the mouth? What exactly are you trying to say, Bravo? [The Rachel Zoe Project]

âItâs not a fluff job,â says stylist Rachel Zoe
There is no stylist more famous, influential or loathed than Rachel Zoe, who selects the red-carpet looks for such A-listers as Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.Zoeâs association with Hollywood launched her career. And her boho-glam aesthetic â oversized sunglasses and handbags, statement jewelry, vintage mixed with modern designs â has inspired trendsters and haters who canât ignore her power in the fashion world.Zoe is an undeniable force in the industry and one of its most targeted

Rachel Zoe, Stop Trying to Make 'I Die' Happen [So Why Don't You?]
newVideoPlayer("/zoedie_def.flv", 506, 423,""); In the annals of Bravo catchphrases, there are those that hit ("Make it work!") and those that miss (like Jonathan Adler's sheepish, "See you later, decorator" from Top Design). Still, an oft-repeated turn of phrase is the one accessory no Bravo star can be without, and so it goes for stylist Rachel Zoe, whose docu-series The Rachel Zoe Project premiered on the channel last night. Whether faced with a beautiful pair of shoes or the terrifying orange head of t

The Rachel Zoe Project: Zoe-isms [Fashion Zoe]
newVideoPlayer("/rzp_jez.flv", 475, 376,""); The Rachel Zoe Project premiered last night. Two things were shocking: 1. Her assistant, Taylor, is a terrifying, intimidating bitch. 2. Rachel seems to be a really nice person with relatable anxiety issues. Also, she's so fucking catch phrase-y. Her faves seem to be the violent "kills it," "I die," and "shut it down," which she at times softens with "loves it," with a slice of "bananas" in between. Above is a clip of all of her Zoe-isms.
Rachel Zoe Goes Back To The Time She Was A Twenty-something Blushing Bride [Fashion Zoe]
newVideoPlayer("/zoe91708_jez_512K.flv", 475, 376,""); While I'm not fond of people being cruel about others' looks, it has been widely-suggested that Rachel Zoe rose to fame looking a bitâŚweathered. I only mention it because on last night's Rachel Zoe Project, she discussed her wedding to her husband, investment banker Roger Berman, 12 years ago, which â if Wikipedia can be trusted about the year of her birth â would have made her about 25 years old, which was hard for me to imagine. In the clip abo
"The Rachel Zoe Project" Rocks! - VIDEOS
It’s a docu-drama that follows celeb stylist Rachel Zoe as she makes the stars dazzle on red carpets, fashion runways, and photo shoots. Ever wonder how they get that way? It’s not by accident. Best Comment of the Day, in response to 10 Plagues Visited Upon The House Of Rachel Zoe: "Sunnies! Ha! Someone clearly went on a trip to Australia recently. So funny that she is no more sophisticated than the sophomore who went on study abroad to London for a semester and came back professing her love for pints of lager in a pub and tea in her flat." We say: what, you think the dumpy boho sacks from hell all the Zoe-bots wear aren't the height of sophistication?? ⢠Worst, in response to 10 Plagues Visited

10 Plagues Visited Upon The House Of Rachel Zoe [Let My LiLo Go]
In a delightfully bitchy review of The Rachel Zoe project, New York Times critic Ginia Bellafante calls the diminutive, over-tanned stylist a "pox on humanity" "It is amazing that The Rachel Zoe Project, which focuses on her career, manages to send its audience deeper into the territory of smug NPR obsessives who wonât stop ranting about trivialityâs conquest of the American soul," Belafante rages. "First I hated the show for passing Ms. Zoe off as an innovator when all she does is recycle a look that
Rachel Zoe: "A Pox On Humanity"
Did you know that Bravo really is doing a reality show of celebrity dresser Rachel Zoe? And it is on the TV tonight? New York Times critic Ginia Bellafante has an opinion about it!
Given that Ms. Zoe is already a pox on humanity—exploiting an aesthetic of dissipation, invading our collective consciousness and spraying it with dummy dust—it is amazing that The Rachel Zoe Project, which focuses on her career, manages to send its audience deeper into the territory of smug NPR obsessives who won't

The Rachel Zoe Backlash Inevitably Helps Only Rachel Zoe
From all reports, bug-eyed Rachel Zoe is not having a good month. Sure, her show just premiered on Bravo, wherein she and her team of "professional stylists" outfit young, rich girls to look like they consist off of Starbucks and cocaine — and she says "bananas" a lot.
But Fashion Week saw some nasty paparazzi astutely/hypocritically heckling the size -4 celbritard for giving young girls body image issues, while Ginia Bellafante used her Times column to call Zoe a "pox on hum
Lykke Li Performs for Drunks, Models, and Fashionistas
Tonight’s V Magazine party at the Mini Space Roof was chock full o’ beautiful people…Agyness, Raquel, Irina, Karlie, and many many more. But I was most excited to see the Swedish singing sensation, Lykke Li.
Wearing a loose black shirt and pants outfit that looked like a chic genie, she wooed the crowd with her beautiful, child-like voice.

Is Rachel Zoe a Pox on Humanity?
Rachel Zoe was everywhere during Fashion Week, stockpiling gift bags at parties for V magazine, Dsquared2, and our very own soiree. But surely none was as important as her own kick-off for her new Bravo show The Rachel Zoe Project, held at the Gramercy Park Hotel. Hopes were high, as she canoodled with celebrity friends (her clients) in anticipation of the show's premiere tonight.
Well, the New York Times did their part in quelling the excitement with a review of that’s a bit on t
