Josh Brolin looked good acting the role of George W. Bush. Brolin looked like he fitted in like a hand to a glove. Look at Josh Brolin as George W. Bush here. Doesn’t he look the part?

However, Oliver Stone said Josh Brolin was not his top choice to play the lead character in the movie, “W.” Stone said he had desired to sign on a big celebrity like Christian Bale because of the sake of the film and its financing. Stone met Bale and discussed at length but Bale tu
George W. Bush: American Psycho?
Looks like all those theories about The Dark Knight being a metaphor for neo-conservative politics -- with Batman standing in for George W. Bush -- are about to get even more interesting thanks to this almost-casting revelation courtesy of W. director Oliver Stone.
In an interview with GQ Magazine, Stone reveals who his first choice was to play Bush in his forthcoming biopic. "We were turned down by everybody for money, including your Aunt Gertrude. It was humiliating. I make no bones about it. I think t
"W"
New York, Sept 21 : Josh Brolin wasn’t Oliver Stone’s first choice to play George W. Bush in his upcoming Biopic, "W."
In fact, the filmmaker wanted to cast Christian Bale for the US President’s role.
"I needed a star. . . and Josh Brolin was not a star. Originally I went for Christian Bale,” The New York Post quoted Stone, as telling GQ. com.
He added: "We did some rigorous prosthetic tests and spent a lot of dough - thousands and thousands of dollars -
Bale Bailed on W.
With the release of Oliver Stone's George W. Bush biopic, W., on the horizon, the director recently admitted that Josh Brolin, who plays the 43rd President, was not his first choice.
In fact, the production first threw a bunch of money at Christian Bale, with whom Stone worked on some "rigorous prosthetic tests" for the role.
In the end, however, Bale bailed, saying he just didn't feel like he could do it.
But Stone doesn't mind his second choice. "I met Josh and liked him. He was more rural Americana.
EXCLUSIVE: ‘W.’ Photo Reveals Bush’s Wild Side
By and large I love me some Oliver Stone. I will defend just about all of his work except for “Alexander”. But even I am not sure what to make of his take on the life and times of George W. Bush. “W.” opens in just over a month and each glimpse me leaves me simultaneously intrigued and skeptical. Will Oliver pull off something special? Your guess is as good as mine. In the meantime, here’s an exclusive image.
Josh Brolin, You Can Love Your Dad, Just Don't 'Love' Your Dad [Parental Affection]
When we wondered a few weeks ago whether Josh Brolin might be bringing too much sexual energy to his role as George W. Bush in the upcoming Oliver Stone-directed biopic W., little did we know how much extra erotic mojo the actor has to throw around. In fact, in an interview with (the very appropriately named) W magazine, a freshly unjailed Brolin revealed the recipient of his most unlikely sexual crush — his own father, James Brolin:

W. TV Spot# 2 and Christian Bale was supposed to play Dubya Bush
The second TV spot for W. has hit the web and once again, just like the first one, this also gives us the comedy side of the movie, Is W. only going to make fun of George W. Bush? Cause that’s what it seems so far. What about the drama aspect of it all? I thought Oliver Stone was going to give a fair portrayal. I’m not a fan of the Bush administration but what good would this biopic be if this turns out to be one-sides only?!
In an interview with GQ Magazine, Director Oliver Stone revealed

It will be interesting to see how both sides of the aisle react to this movie. If it’s seriously damaging to the President’s reputation (which is how the clips look), I can only imagine that the Republicans will be crying and the Democrats will be cheering. And vice versa.
And I just have to say how much I love this poster.
