Johnny Depp to play in another Pirates sequel and in Lone Ranger Film
You know it’s a good day when you’re blessed with three stories about projects dreamboat Johnny Depp has signed on for. The news came out earlier today that Depp, 45, had signed on to play the Mad Hatter in a 3D live action animated adaption of Alice in Wonderland, to be directed by Tim Burton. Now there’s news that Depp has signed on for another Pirates of the Caribbean sequel, something that seemed to inevitably be coming based on the enormous box office take of the last three episodes.
Johnny Depp Wants To Play Cowboys And Indians…And Mad Hatters And Pirates, Too
Johnny Depp is going to be one busy, busy guy for the next few years, and he’s going to have to make more room on his shelf for all the hats (no pun intended) he’s going to have to wear. News is that he’s signed on to play both Tonto and the Mad Hatter in two Disney films:
Stepping into the iconic role of the Mad Hatter, Depp joins previously announced 18-year-old newcomer Mia Wasikowska, who has been chosen to play Alice. The 3-D “Alice in Wonderland” will reunite one of t
Johnny Depp Returns For ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ 4
It has been confirmed that Johnny Depp will be returning as Captain Jack Sparrow in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Depp has mentioned several times that he’d be open to bringing back Jack Sparrow while co-stars, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, don’t share his enthusiasm. When Knightley was asked if she would ever consider [...]
Depp signs on for ‘Pirates 4′
In more Johnny Depp casting news, the easy-on-the-eyes box-office heavyweight has signed on to reprise his Oscar-nominated role of Captain Jack Sparrow in a fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
In addition to the almost inevitable announcement of another Pirates go-round—during which the names Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley went unmentioned—Disney also announced [...]
Sadly, Johnny Depp To Play Three More Silly Characters [Casting]
No one's asking Johnny Depp to pursue a boring, traditional Hollywood acting career, but this is just getting ridiculous. The Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas star has been cast in three new movies, all of which are silly, "quirky" character parts that will further obscure the man's innate talent behind a curious mask of ticks and inflections, jaunty gaits and syncopated eye blinks.
He'll once again Keith Richards it up in another, the fourth, Pirates of the Caribbean movie (to be titled Pirates of the Carib
Johnny Depp Will Do Pirates of the Caribbean 4!
Just when you thought it was over, Disney makes the HUGE announcement that they are working on another Pirates of the Caribbean movie. AND Johnny Depp will star in it. Why wouldn’t he? It made him a small fortune!
More pictures after the sail…
So much for pushing the ‘Three Movies Only’ idea with the franchise. The [...]
Pirates of the Caribbean to return for 4th movie
Pirates of the Caribbean is set to return to the big screen with news that Johnny Depp has been signed for the fourth installment of the Disney franchise.
Timing on the next movie hasn’t been confirmed yet, nor whether the biggest star (at least for me) Keira Knightley will return. Depp has commitments through to 2010, so the next movie may not appear on screens until 2011 or even 2012.

Orlando’s in London, But Will He Get Back into Pirate Mode?
Orlando Bloom flashed a smirk as he left the Ivy Club in London yesterday. He looked cute all zipped up in his leather jacket, even with his motorcycle back in NYC. Now that Johnny Depp has signed on for another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, the first question on our minds is whether or not Orlando will be back to play his sidekick for a fourth time. While Johnny needs no help holding his own on the big screen, it's hard to imagine another pirate movie without Orlando and that handsome smile.

Breaking News! Keira Knightley Says No More Corsets… Or “Pirates 4″
Hey, maybe we do make a difference here at TunaFlix! After tirelessly pointing out Keira Knightley’s penchant for corset-wearing period pieces, the Pirates of the Caribbean actress showed she heard us loud and clear, telling MTV she won’t be joining Johnny Depp in Pirates 4, despite yesterday’s announcement:
“They were completely amazing, but I think I can’t wear corsets for a while. I had an amazing journey with those three films. But I think it’s [time to do] different things.
Keira Knightley Doubtful On Pirates 4
After just learning yesterday that Johnny Depp would definitely be back at the helm as Captain Jack Sparrow for Pirates of the Caribbean 4 it now appears that Keira Knightley might be a hold out. Listen to her recent interview with MTV.
“They were completely amazing, but I think I can’t wear corsets for a while,” she said. “I had an amazing journey with those three films. But I think it’s [time to do] different things.”
Sounds like a perfect plot twist in the story I like to call, “Did
Keira Knightley Sounds Doubtful For ‘Pirates 4’
Johnny Depp may be up for another turn as Jack Sparrow in a fourth Pirate flick but don’t expect all of his co-stars to be on hand for the next adventure, at least if what Keira Knightley told us is to be believed.
MTV News caught up with the sometime Elizabeth Swann recently and she sounded like a woman who’s putting that franchise in the past. “They were completely amazing, but I think I can’t wear corsets for a while,” she said. “I had an amazing journey with those t

Johnny Depp Headed Back to the Caribbean
Johnny Depp is signing on to don his wig and eye liner yet again for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ part four. Depp has become famous for his portrayal of Jack Sparrow Captain of the Black Pearl for at least one more film. Lets face it you can not have a pirate movie without Johnny Depp.
There is no confirmation on the script or even what it is about or if the rest of the cast will return. I guess if you have Captain Jack Sparrow who needs the rest. I would really miss Orlando Bloom but hey that is just me
3am: We Are Scientists and Orlando Bloom gamble with Johnny Depp
When New York indie band We Are Scientists were invited on to the set of Pirates of the Caribbean they were so excited to meet Johnny Depp they lost all sense... and a few pieces of eight.
Turns out Cap'n Jack Sparrow is a devil of a dice player and he soon hooked them into a game of craps.
Bass player Chris Cain told Channel Bee: "It was amazing. He was infatuated that we're in a band. I guess he's always dreamed of being a rock star." Hmm, flattery will get you everywhere. That and a couple of keg

Orlando Bloom And Keira Knightley In Another Remake
Yes, it's time for another Hollywood remake. This time the movie will be Saturday Night Fever, and British newspapers are reporting that the classic redone will star Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom.
While I admit that it should really be fun to see the costumes for Saturday Night Fever, is anybody else a little sick of all the remakes? There isn't much original material out there these days...

Die Another Day

We sure hope they made this story up - cuz this idea sucks!
The new movie will be set in England, not in the NYC like the original.
Does this mean we'll get some new Bee Gees tunes?
Hope so!
But, please, if you must make this film - no John Travolta cameo!

3am: Orlando Bloom & Keira Knightley to do Saturday Night Fever remake
Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are donning flares and platforms for The Fever Returns - a new take on 70s classic, Saturday Night Fever.
We can just see Orlando strutting his stuff in John Travolta's famous white suit, but we have our doubts about how the disco flick is going to maintain its street-cred.
Film bosses have changed the location from Brooklyn to the mean streets of Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire. Yes, really...
Johnny’s In, but Keira is Still out of Pirates 4
Keira Knightley has already said previously that she doubts she’ll ever be returning to the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, and she’s repeated that train of thought one more time. Although Knightley couches her response to the question in very glowing and positive terms (”amazing”, “wonderful”, “magical”, “lots and lots of money” — okay, maybe not so much the last one), she’s reiterated again that it’s very doubt
