Johnny Depp Headed Back to the Caribbean

Johnny Depp to play in another Pirates sequel and in Lone Ranger Film
You know it’s a good day when you’re blessed with three stories about projects dreamboat Johnny Depp has signed on for. The news came out earlier today that Depp, 45, had signed on to play the Mad Hatter in a 3D live action animated adaption of Alice in Wonderland, to be directed by Tim Burton. Now there’s news that Depp has signed on for another Pirates of the Caribbean sequel, something that seemed to inevitably be coming based on the enormous box office take of the last three episodes.
Johnny Depp to Star in Pirates of the Caribbean 4 and The Lone Ranger
One of the other major announcements from yesterday’s Disney Showcase was actually three announcements in one… and they all involve Johnny Depp! Yep, it sure seems like Disney has hitched their wagon to Depp’s star, as they’ve got him lined up for not only another Pirates of the Carribean sequel, but also The Lone Ranger and an animated version of Alice in Wonderland!
Alice in Wonderland will be a motion-capture animated film in the vein of Beowulf with Tim Burton at the helm. Depp
JOHNNY DEPP - DEPP IS DISNEY'S TRIPLE TREAT
Johnny Depp has been unveiled as Disney Studios' main man, after film bosses announced plans for a trio of movies all starring the Hollywood actor.
Disney chairman DICk Cook revealed the news during a press conference at Los Angeles' Kodak Theatre on Wednesday (24Sep08), detailing plans for upcoming films that would tie Depp to the studio for the next few years.
Cook confirmed that a third sequel to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise was in the works, and that he would star as The Mad Hatter in direct
Johnny Depp Is Busy
Don't expect Johnny Depp to return your phone calls anytime soon, because he's going to be tied up for a while. And not tied up in the way you've fantasized about over and over again. The pimps at Disney have announced that Johnny will star in 3 films for them. Depp is officially a Disney whore! He's also the only Disney whore I want to see half-naked on MySpace.
Johnny is currently shooting Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" for Tim Burton. He plays the Mad Hatter opposite Mia Wasikowska as Alice and Matt Luc

The project marks the latest collaboration between the Golden Globe-winning actor and Burton, who have previously teamed up for feature films like Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and 2007’s Sweeney Todd, for which Johnny earned an Oscar nomination.
The actor will be joined by Australian actress Mia Wasikowska, who has been cast as Alice.

Johnny Depp Wants To Play Cowboys And Indians…And Mad Hatters And Pirates, Too
Johnny Depp is going to be one busy, busy guy for the next few years, and he’s going to have to make more room on his shelf for all the hats (no pun intended) he’s going to have to wear. News is that he’s signed on to play both Tonto and the Mad Hatter in two Disney films:
Stepping into the iconic role of the Mad Hatter, Depp joins previously announced 18-year-old newcomer Mia Wasikowska, who has been chosen to play Alice. The 3-D “Alice in Wonderland” will reunite one of t
Sadly, Johnny Depp To Play Three More Silly Characters [Casting]
No one's asking Johnny Depp to pursue a boring, traditional Hollywood acting career, but this is just getting ridiculous. The Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas star has been cast in three new movies, all of which are silly, "quirky" character parts that will further obscure the man's innate talent behind a curious mask of ticks and inflections, jaunty gaits and syncopated eye blinks.
He'll once again Keith Richards it up in another, the fourth, Pirates of the Caribbean movie (to be titled Pirates of the Carib

Orlando’s in London, But Will He Get Back into Pirate Mode?
Orlando Bloom flashed a smirk as he left the Ivy Club in London yesterday. He looked cute all zipped up in his leather jacket, even with his motorcycle back in NYC. Now that Johnny Depp has signed on for another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, the first question on our minds is whether or not Orlando will be back to play his sidekick for a fourth time. While Johnny needs no help holding his own on the big screen, it's hard to imagine another pirate movie without Orlando and that handsome smile.

Depp Sails Back To The 'Caribbean'
The eccentric-yet-damn entertaining swashbuckler will set sail once again as Mr. Johnny Depp has signed on with Disney to do a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film, reprising his role as Jack...sorry, Captain Jack Sparrow.
According to the report by Variety, Depp has become the man of the house in Disney, as the actor has also agreed to become Tonto in an upcoming film adaptaton of The Lone Ranger, which will be also produced by Pirates and Prince of Persia maker Jerry Bruckheimer. Also, Depp wi
Johnny Depp Cast in Burton's Alice, The Lone Ranger and Pirates of the Caribbean 4
I just spent the last six and a half hours in the Kodak Theater in Hollywood watching Disney's big keynote event. So the next few stories will be about the big announcements that came out of the presentation.
Johnny Depp has been cast in the upcoming Jerry Bruckheimer produced adaptation of the classic old-time radio and early television show The Lone Ranger created by George W. Trendle. The series followed a masked Texas Ranger in the Old West who rights injustices with the aid of his native American as
Johnny Depp is the Mad Hatter for Tim Burton
Depp and Burton — who first worked together in 1990’s “Edward Scissorhands” and most recently collaborated on “Sweeney Todd” — have formed one of the longest-running director-actor partnerships in modern Hollywood. When Burton committed to filming a new live-action/CG-animated version of “Alice,” Depp was touted as the most likely candidate to play the Mad Hatter — after all, having worked with Burton on “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,
Johnny Depp to star in 'Pirates 4'
Disney is keeping Johnny Depp busy with a fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film and co-starring turns in "The Lone Ranger" and "Alice in Wonderland."
Since Depp's first three "Pirates of the Caribbean" films added $2.6 billion in worldwide box office to the Disney coffers, it was no surprise that the company made him its unofficial posterboy at its Wednesday (Sept. 24) presentation in Hollywood.
Perhaps the most predictable piece of Depp-related casting announced at the event was that the Oscar nomin
Johnny Depp Back as Jack Sparrow in ‘Pirates 4′
Still no confirmation on what it’ll be about or even if any of the rest of the cast might return, but I suppose that doesn’t matter. As long as you have Captain Jack Sparrow, not only do you have the worst pirate you’ve ever seen, you also have a Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
He really has to be there. It’s a given.

Disney Pulls Out Big Guns with 3-D, Johnny Depp
Perusing through IMDB, you might start to notice a trend for upcoming films: 3-D is back in a big way. The once-gimmicky (well, it's still gimmicky) trend is the latest move by theaters in the wake of lagging sales to cash in on some of that super-lucrative nostalgia bucks.
Disney has at least five films slated to come out in 3-D in the upcoming year or so, and another 16 in development, including a Tim Burton adaptation of Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. Depp will also st
