John McCain Picks Up on Theme of Change

Sen. John McCain: "Change is Coming"
John McCain accepted the Republican Party's nomination for president Thursday night by pledging to transcend the "partisan rancor" and bring reform to Washington.
"Let me just offer an advance warning to the old, big-spending, do-nothing, me-first-country-second crowd: Change is coming," the Arizona senator said at the gathering in St. Paul (Watch above).
"I fight to restore the pride and principles of our party," he added. "We were elected to change Washington, and we let Washington change us... The cons
10 Speech Backgrounds Designed To Make John McCain Look Less Pale
After watching John McCain's Convention Speech last night in front of an alternating bright green background, a bright blue background, and an apparent Flonase commercial, it's clear that the Republican presidential nominee is in dire need of some less vibrant, less pastel-ey backgrounds to draw attention away from his overwhelmingly pale television facade. Here are ten suggestions:
1. Core Of The Sun
2. The Dude From "Powder"
3. Abominable Snowman
4. The White Album
5. Freshm

Green Screen Behind McCain Actually Lawn of, Uh, Middle School In, Uh, North Hollywood
America laughed again last night as a terrible “green screen” once again appeared behind John McCain, during his big speech at the RNC. Well, the “green” was actually the lawn of a school in North Hollywood, California. And the school is called “Walter Reed Middle School.” And the random idiot assigned the task of picking John McCain’s video background during the biggest speech of his career was apparently told to put a picture of Walter Reed Army Medical Center on
John McCain Will Finally Finish Destroying America’s Financial System
Hmm, this sounds kind of familiar if you remember the Keating Five and S&L Collapse: “Nevada regulators have shut down Silver State Bank. It was the 11th failure this year of a federally insured bank. Andrew McCain, son of Republican presidential nominee John McCain, was a member of the bank’s board, but recently stepped down for ‘personal reasons …. ‘” Ha, whatever, McCain Crime Family. The Band of Band That's Rejected McCain
For the third time this election season, a band has asked the Republican party to not use one of its songs to introduce the party's presidential and vice-presidential nominees, John McCain and Sarah Palin. Much like Bruce Springsteen, who in 1984 asked Ronald Reagan to stop using "Born in the USA" on his reelection campaign trail, the artists say their politics don't jibe with those of the GOP candidates.
After the jump, the artists and the songs to which they've asserted control.
McCain, Obama, job-losses: 'Tough times'
"These are tough times... tough times,'' Republican John McCain said on the campaign trail in Wisconsin today, relaunching his bid for the White House with Sarah Palin by his side.
Democrat Barack Obama, waging his own campaign for the White House, maintained today that McCain is insensitive to the current turmoil of the American economy. "I don't think this is because John McCain is a bad person,'' Obama told his campaign audience today. "I just think he doesn't get it.'
Not only getting it, but also

Monkey Menace Panders to McCain/Palin Crowd [FNFF]
The damned moneys. Despite the warnings, the hundreds and hundreds of warnings, everyone insists on treating these near-human masterminds of evil as being just like us! After all, they can handle firearms, but they are also breeding with our innocent pigs. Now that John McCain and scandal-bot Sarah Palin are wooing the family values crowd—while forcing that crowd to disown everything they every said—the monkeys have found a way into the heart of the Christian Right. The little wicked creatures are MARRY
