Jim Carrey, Zooey Deschanel Say 'Yes' to London

Jim Carrey’s Bungee Jumping PTSD
Cate Blanchett attended last night’s premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in Westwood apparently wearing a Spanx bodystocking that she decided to accessorize with an oversized Christmas topper she ripped off some poor unsuspecting tree.
With no makeup and I-just-went-to-the-gym hair, Cate is a vision in nude.
Is the color choice because she secretly she’s hoping she can pull an Emperor has no clothes?
Sorry, Cate, we can see you and what we see is busted to the max!

The actor appeared along side co-star Zoey Deschanel at the London photocall of their new movie Yes Man. The comedy tells the story of a guy who challenges himself to say "yes" to everything for an entire year and what happens when he opens up his life to world of (hopefully) positive posibilities. Check out a trailer here. Yes Man opens in theaters on Dec. 19.

Jim Carrey Arrives In A Double-Decker Bus At His Film's Premiere In London
Jim Carrey arrived at the world premiere of his new film "Yes Man" in a double-decker bus Tuesday night. The charismatic star thrilled the crowd as he shouted from the open-topped vehicle in London's Leicester Square.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I got here on a double-decker tank bus - with canons!"
The American actor admitted he was feeling the December chill, but insisted he could handle it for one night.
He said: "The cold is nice - because I'm just visiting."

Jim and Zooey Are Still Saying Yes
Yes Man is set to hit theaters in December, but Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel were still hard at work on the film in LA this past weekend. They looked like they were having a blast together on the set, and we imagine that there must be a lot of laughs with these two around. The teaser trailer looks fun so tell us if you're planning to check out the movie. It's on our short list since we're excited to see Jim's return to comedy paired with Zooey's quirky charm on the big screen.

Jim Carrey Broke A Rib In The Name Of Comedy
Taking on the role of a man who is forced to say yes to every possible suggestion given to him, Jim Carrey has done a good job of adopting that mantra in his real life.

New trailer for Yes Man
Jim Carrey is returning to the genre that started his career, the comedy. In Yes Man, he plays a usually negative guy, who decides to challenge himself by saying yes to everything.
A new trailer is inside, featuring a little more footage. I much prefer Carrey in these kinds of roles.
In Yes Man, Jim Carrey plays Carl Allen, a man usually says no to everything. In an effort to change his life, he challenges himself to yes to everything for a whole year, Zooey Deschanel also
"Yes Man" faz paródia com 'Harry Potter'
“Yes Man”, Zooey Deschanel Is Looking Hot!
Damn, Zooey Deschanel is impressing me with these pictures from the London premiere of her new movie Yes Man. I always knew the girl could step it up for a premiere, but this is above and beyond - Jim Carrey’s bundled up in a scarf, jacket and gloves, and Zooey’s not even covering up with a sweater! Now that’s an actress who knows how to please her fans.

We've been all over this already, but once more if you haven't being paying attention: Zooey Deschanel teamed up with San Franciscan electropunk trio, Von Iva to form the fake band Munchausen By Proxy in Jim Carrey's upcoming comedy, "Yes Man."
Deschanel plays Carrey's love interest in the film and from we gather he meets her when he goes to one of her band's shows (he normally refuses everything, but once he starts saying, "yes!," he agrees to go to her show.

Zooey Deschanel Does Synth Pop For The New Jim Carrey Flick
Jim Carrey's upcoming remake of Liar, Liar fresh new film Yes Man has already earned itself some Gummy Indie Crush cred in casting Zooey Deschanel (aka one-half of the outfit behind Paste's favorite album of the year). The muso-crossover goes deeper, though: In the movie, Zooey appears as one-fourth of the fictional band Munchausen By Proxy, alongside SF electro trio Von Iva. In the movie, Jim's character (spoiler alert) can't say no to Zooey. (Or anything else.) Anyway there are two Munchausen

'The Happening' and 'The Visitor' '” new on DVD
M. Night Shyamalan"s first R-rated film, "The Happening," with Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel, is not quite the morbid slog it was on the big screen, and "The Visitor," a life-affirming character piece written and directed by Tom McCarthy ("The Staton Agent") and starring "Six Feet Under"s" Richard Jenkins, resonates on many levels.
Meet Katy and Zooey ... or Is It Zooey and Katy? Yipes!
Looks like Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel have more in common than that whole singing thing. Everyone's favorite girl-kissing pop star and everyone's favorite actress-turned-indie-rock-darling (Deschanel is the 'She' in the duo She & Him) look so similar it breaks our brain. It's the eyes. And the hair. And, well, everything. Could a look-alike, co-headlining tour be in their future?

Jim Carrey is a 'Yes Man' to Jenny McCarthy!
Jim Carrey plays a man who is transformed by the power of a simple "yes" answer to anything and everything in his new comedy 'Yes Man,' in theaters December 19, and he tells our own Lara Spencer on why he said "Yes" to love Jenny McCarthy!
"When I met Jenny, I kind of walked into this birthday party [and] I was just in this really awesome place," explains the funnyman. "And she looked at me from across the room and said there was something different; she had no idea it was total insanity."

Mountain Men: The Sundance Film Festival … [Festivals]
Mountain Men: The Sundance Film Festival broke out its non-competition selections for 2009 this afternoon, a starrier, funkier twist on yesterday’s slate of barbershop docs and Pierce Brosnan weepies. At the top is Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor’s gay prison romance I Love You Philip Morris, which we’ve been anticipating since first spying Carrey’s frolicsome South Beach sojourn. Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke and Don Cheadle will be around for the cop drama Brooklyn’s Finest, while B
Celebrities on recession: Diddy sans bling, Jim Carrey doesn’t care
P. Diddy is showing some sensitivity for the rest of us by toning down his bling during the recession. He’s demonstrating a good deal of common sense and respect for his fans and their financial situations, which probably aren’t as luxurious as his own.
Rapper P Diddy is trying to hold back on his over-the-top fashions and dress less flashy - out of respect for his fans.

Nothing happens in “The Happening”
Yes. This movie is disturbing, but for all the wrong reasons. No. This movie is not good. I can almost see what probably went down when Mr. Shyamalan got the green light to make his first ever R-Rated film. It must’ve been on the lines of a child at a candy store, but instead of taking all the candy he could with his hands, he was finally given a bag. Now he could try some different candy, give his taste buds some variety, and even be bold by trying things no other kids would.
But there
jim carrey loves to say yes!
hey kids! although i've never been a huge fan of Jim Carrey - he has definitely grown on me over the years - he's super funny & talented and still looks great plus Jim seems to be like a very decent boyfriend to Jenny McCarthy (who i've always adored!) mr. Carrey has a new flick coming out december 19th (just in time for the holidays) and this one thankfully brings him back to comedy (his last film (besides horton hears a who!) the number 23 was far from hilarious) it's called yes man (co-starring Zooey De
Jim Carrey is a Bungee-Jumping 'Yes Man'!
Jim Carrey plays a man who is transformed by the power of a simple "yes" answer to anything and everything in his new comedy 'Yes Man,' in theaters December 19, and it turns out he said yes to a lot more than he bargained for during the film shoot!
"They had to take all the physical scenes and put them to the last week of the movie," Jim tells our own Thea Andrews. "It was like every physical thing that you could ever imagine thrown into one week -- I was just like, 'This is insane!' -- including jumping o
Fashion Show: Erin Fetherston [Fashion Show]
Erin Fetherston grew up in the Bay Area before moving to Paris to study design. She's a relative newcomer, since her first collection debuted in 2005, but with celeb friends like Kirsten Dunst and Zooey Deschanel — not to mention last year's collaboration with Target — Fetherston is quickly becoming a household name. Her runway show was Friday night. For Spring 2009, Fetherston showed filmy, feminine garments in pale, pastel colors and whisper-sheer fabrics that looked as light as, well, you kno
At Winter Wonderland Ball, Margherita Missoni Wonders: 'Am I In The Sinking Titanic? I Think I'm In The Sinking Titanic'
On Friday the Labor Department announced that the country had lost more jobs in November than it had in any single month prior to 1974, a state of affairs one economist dubbed "almost indescribably terrible." And yet every major stock market index soared, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 260 points and your correspondent, whose job was a casualty of the previous month's purges, paid $41 to take a taxicab to a Chanel-sponsored Winter Wonderland ball, to which Holly Dunlap had decided to w

CONTEST: Win M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening on DVD!
M. Night Shyamalan’s latest film The Happening hits stores today, and we’ve got copies of the DVD to give away to 3 lucky Film Junkies. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel and John Leguizamo, and although it’s not Shyamalan’s strongest film, I still found it to be an engrossing SF suspense thriller (you can read my review here).
If you’d like to win The Happening on DVD, all you have to do is send your name and mailing address to filmjunk@gmail.com with “The H
Jim Carrey’s Patriotism Is Stuck Between the Eyeballs of a Bunny Skull
Baby, it’s cold outside, but the sympathy ends … now.
Scarves shouldn’t allow mingling between a (sorta) thriving superpower and its former oppressor! We isn’t colonies! Yes, you passed on a lower form of the English language, but yo, Britain — American ain’t yo bitch no more!
Jim Carrey, where is your patriotism? Stuck between the the eyeballs of two bunny skulls? Figures.
