Jennie Garth has departed from CBS' comedy pilot "My Best Friend's Girl," raising speculation about a possible stint on the CW's "Beverly Hills, 90210" spinoff.
Kristin Booth has been tapped to replace
Garth as the female lead in "Girl," while Jerry O'Connell has signed on to star opposite Niecy Nash in the Fox comedy pilot "The Inn."
Additionally, Tony winner
Denis O'Hare has joined CBS' drama presentation "The Tower."

Jennie Garth to Star in New CBS Sitcom
Jennie Garth is returning to the small screen.
The former Dancing With the Stars contestant and 90210 star, 35, has signed on to play the female lead on a CBS pilot called My Best Friend’s Girl, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The show centers around two pals (Tim Peper, Josh Cooke) who own a bike shop. Their relationship get tense when one of them begins dating the other’s ex-wife (Garth).
Garth last appeared on the WB sitcom What I Like About You, opposite Amanda Bynes.

Fox News reports that Tori Spelling is releasing a book about her days on the set of the TV show 90210.
The autobiography even tells about a Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth fist fight... NICE! In a excerpt revealed to People magazine Spelling wrote: "Shannen had everything, but she could be arrogant and carefree. Jennie [Garth] was outspoken when she thought Shannen was out of line.
