Janelle Monae, Q-Tip, The Cool Kids, The Knux: Cool Kids and Q-Tip join up for 2K Bounce Tour
Q-Tip, in support of The Renaissance (which, to date, is still set for a November 4 release date), is hitting the road as a part of 2K Sports’ Bounce Tour with guests the Cool Kids, and DJ Scratch. The tour kicks off in Chicago on November 5 and lasts through December 3. The Knux serve as support throughout the tour, with Pacific Division and Janelle Monae linking up with the tour on select dates. Check out Janelle Monae’s Sci-Fi music video for Many Moons. The video is light-years beyond what you normally see on any networks’ video countdowns. In fact, Monáe insisted on calling it a “short film,” not a video, which I think is fair. Many Moons is based on Fritz Lang’s 1927 landmark silent film Metropolis, starring Monáe in multiple roles as an assortment of futuristic androids. Click the image above to listen.
