McCain camp hits out at Brown’s praise of Obama
Republican presidential nominee John McCain has criticized British Prime Minister Gordon Brown for endorsing Barack Obama in a magazine article. According to The Telegraph, the McCain Campaign has questioned Brown’s lavish praise of Obama’s economic policies.
The paper predicts that this endorsement could open a serious rift between the Republicans and the British Government, should the former enter the White House after November 4, 2008. According to the article, Brown’s endorsement was
McCain leads Obama 45 percent to 42 percent in latest Fox News poll
Republican John McCain continues to maintain a slim lead over Democratic rival Barack Obama, almost two weeks after the Republican convention in St. Paul, Minnesota. According to a Fox News poll, McCain leads Obama by 45 percent to 42 percent. Independents too are backing McCain by 15 percentage points (46 percent to 31 percent). Last month, Obama had a one-point edge among independents.
Before the Democratic convention in Denver, Obama led McCain by 42 percent to 39 percent.
According to the poll, Indep
Todd Palin Subpoenaed!
After much speculation regarding the probe being conducted by the Alaska State Judiciary Committee Todd Palin will be questioned. The potential First Dude, husband of GOP Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin and father of 5, is, according to People, "to be subpoenaed in the state investigation into whether his wife

Paris Hilton's Presidential T-shirts
Paris Hilton has designed a range of T-shirts backing her to become the next US President. The hotel heiress recently "announced" her candidacy in a spoof online video - which she made after 71-year-old Republican Presidential candidate John McCain used her image without permission in a TV campaign mocking his rival Barack Obama - and decided to make the T-shirts, which are available from fashionable Los Angeles boutique Kitson, for her supporters. She said: "I bought a 'Paris for President' shirt a few years
Leo and Tobey Suit Up For Service Summit
Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio were spotted a few weeks ago relaxing together in Hawaii, and yesterday the friends were both at the Service Nation Summit at Columbia in NYC. The boys weren't the only famous duo to stop by the event encouraging people to give back — John McCain and Barack Obama both appeared yesterday. As for Tobey who took the podium with Leo there to cheer him on, it's been all but officially confirmed that he and director Sam Raimi are about to sign on for two more sequels of Spide
Sarah Palin is Painful to Watch: Interview Video
If you didn't catch ABC's interview of Sarah Palin last night, you missed a lot. Palin, the Republican Vice Presidential candidate sat down with Charlie Gibson for her first interview since being nominated. We've got the video right here.
Palin shows us kind of a scary side of a person that might be a heartbeat away from the most important position in the free world. She has no idea what the Bush Doctrine is and comes off as pretty ignorant, stumbling awkwardly around Gibson's questions. Y
Pamela Anderson Sarah Palin: “She Can Suck It!” (Video)
Add Pamela Anderson to the growing list of celebrities who hate Sarah Palin. The star of E!’s Pam: Girl on the Loose criticised the Republican vice-presidential candidate during a red carpet interview at a Toronto rally to raise awareness for animal cruelty earlier this week.
“I can’t stand her. She can suck it!” Pamela retorted when asked her about her views on the conservative Alaska governor, known for her abortion, same-sex marriage, and capital punishment.

John McCain Cindy McCain “The View” Video (September 12)
John and Cindy McCain talked politics with the ladies of The View on Friday. And while “becoming a slave again” was a big cause of concern for Whoopi, the fate of Roe vs. Wade and a woman’s right to choose was a focal point of discussion.
“I believe Roe v. Wade was a very bad decision,” McCain told conservative psycho he would hope to appoint Supreme Court justices who “strictly interpret” and “enforce” the Constitution.

Can We Stop With the 'AP In the Tank For McCain' Thing? [Bias]
Ron Fournier, the new Associated Press Washington Bureau Chief? Definitely a tool, possibly a Republican. Some of the AP campaign coverage this season? Annoying at best, misleading at worst. But recently liberals (led by the usually serious Talking Points Memo) have all but declared the Associated Press an arm of the John McCain communications office. Well we can seek out and link to only the AP dispatches that fit our preferred spin too, guys!
Today the wire sent out a remarkable analysis piece on how th

John McCain Shows Barack Obama How to Honor 911 Victims - Body Language Analysis
Both John McCain and Barack Obama suspended their Presidential campaigning on 9-11 to honor the victims killed in New York by Arab Muslim terrorists. I explain the body language with video stills below to help you see what is going on.
In this first picture below notice the handshake. This handshake is called the Submissive Handshake, and Barack Obama is being submissive, while John McCain is being dominant. Obama’s palm is facing upward, while McCain’s is facing downward. Symbolically this is

McCain’s VP pick shockingly irresponsible: NYT editorial
In what can be described as its most hardest hitting criticism of Republican presidential nominee John McCain, the New York Times has said in an editorial that his decision to select Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, is “shockingly irresponsible”.
“If he seriously thought this first-term governor, with less than two years in office, was qualified to be president, it raises profound questions about his judgment. If the choice was, as we suspect, a tactical move, then it was shockingly
John McCain Grilled on The View - Video
Senator John McCain was on The View last week and the hosts peppered him with some tough questions but, of course, no one can really know what the true answers to these queries are. I mean, you can ask the tough questions and even accuse someone of lying in their campaign ads (as Joy Behar did) but the candidate can always lie. When his wife Cindy McCain came out to join him, she was asked how many houses they have and she refused to answer the question saying that their personal possessions wer
Barack Obama, John McCain Agree On Importance Of Community Service At Columbia University Forum
NEW YORK — Columbia University students had it tough on Thursday, duking it out over seating arrangements and enduring intense security measures, as Senators John McCain and Barack Obama arrived on campus for their first televised appearances since their parties' national conventions. John McCain gets grilled on 'The View'
John McCain's "straight talk" rep took some hits Friday from the ladies of "The View."
McCain grew defensive when Barbara Walters challenged the reformer credentials of his running mate Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska), noting that Palin had gobbled up earmarks for her state.
"Not as governor she didn't," McCain said on the ABC-TV daytime program. But government watchdog groups charge that Palin has sought at least $200 million in federal earmarks since becoming governor in 2006.RELATED: OBAMA HITS McCain ON COM

Obama Plans Cameo on 'SNL' Season Premiere
Sen. Barack Obama will make a cameo appearance on this weekend's season premiere of NBC's "Saturday Night Live," a spokesman for the show confirmed.
Olympian Michael Phelps is scheduled to host the show, but Sen. Obama will appear in at least one sketch.
Details of his appearance were not immediately available, which is not surprising, given that "SNL" writers and producers assemble the show right up until airtime.
