We occasionaly get emails from readers asking why we haven't covered a particular film or news story. Often it's because we haven't run a pirated or leaked trailer – we don't do that, boo piracy! – but recently we've had a number of furious questioning missives asking why we've run nothing on the movie Twilight.
The short answer is: it's not a project that had particular recognition for us and the recently released featurettes wouldn't play for users outside the US, so we couldn't watch them. But now

Entertainment Weekly explains why "Twilight" movie is getting some touch ups
Bedroom Kiss scene do-overTwilight director Catherine Hardwicke confirms to EW.com that she's currently overseeing reshoots on her adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's book (now opening Nov. 21). "It's pretty cool," Hardwicke e-mails from Pasadena, Calif., where she's filming the new material. "We got to shoot some things I really wanted." While reshoots often hint that there may be a problem with a movie, that doesn't appear to be the case with Twilight, whose initial 44-day Oregon production faced multipl

What just leaked on the internet? The first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun, a companion novel to Twilight by Stephenie Meyer from Edward Cullen's POV.On Stephenie Meyer's myspace, the headline is: "Camel's back, meet the last straw..."I personally seem to think it's damage control since her last book had such mixed reviews. She wants to keep the Twilight momentum alive.I looked and I didn't see this here, sorry if it was already posted. I thought some of you may like to know. Thoughts???Articl

'Twilight' Star Robert Pattinson Wonders Why You're So Afraid of His Chest Hair [Vamping]
It was the Entertainment Weekly cover that forever scarred Livejournal: a vivid tableau of Twilight actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the former barechested enough to expose millions of teenage girls to their first confusing glimpse of chest hair.
Though excitement for the cinematic adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's vampire novel had been building to a crescendo, one actor's decision not to wax could have destroyed everything; fortunately, the audience's distaste for even more hirsute werewolve
‘Twilight’ Star Kellan Lutz Says Stephenie Meyer Should Take Her Time With ‘Midnight Sun’
Emmett doesn’t want to hear Edward’s point of view. At least not yet. Kellan Lutz, the actor who plays Edward’s brother in “Twilight,” thinks that Stephenie Meyer should wait a while before finishing “Midnight Sun,” the companion novel that leaked to the Web last month. (See what Lutz and Robert Pattinson had to say about the “Twilight” reshoots here.)
“If I was Stephenie Meyer,” Lutz said, “and if I made that book — which is mor

‘Twilight’ Poster Designer Ready To Tackle Sequels
Like Edward Cullen eyeballing a deer in the middle of the woods, you can be forgiven if you drool a bit while looking at the first official “Twilight” poster. It’s an MTV exclusive, it’s a thing of beauty, and it was designed by 18-year-old wunderkind photographer Joey Lawrence.
You can read our interview with Joey over on the MTV Movies page, but here’s an extra-juicy bit of news: Lawrence has signed on to create all the posters for “Twilight” and its sequels.

Most of fans celebrating Stephenie Meyer Day — and fictional character Isabella Swan's 20th birthday — had the same refrain: "I just love all of the characters."
