Hugh Jackman unsure about his future with “X-Men.”
Hugh, who has already starred in three of the comic book adaptations, will be seen reprising his role as the superhero in the forthcoming picture which is due to hit the big screen in May.
He says that if the prequel fails to match the success of the previous X-Men films, he will quit the franchise altogether.
He says, “If it’s clear to us on May second or third that that’s gone, then I’ll walk away happily. I’m not going to flog something - or flog a dead horse, or try and make movi
Baz Luhrmann Talks "Australia"
“Australia” is in theaters right now, and I’ll be seeing and reviewing it in the next day or so. Until then, here’s director Baz Luhrmann talking the movie up with AMC’s Jacob Soboroff.
Trailer Cache: Australia
The new trailer for Baz Luhrmann's Austrailia has us a little dumbfounded. The film, Mr. Luhrmann's first since striking the fancy of Oscar voters seven years ago with his multiple nominated revisionist musical Moulin Rouge!, features so many references to other movies that it's actually hard to keep up.
Mostly Australia culls from African Queen; Hugh Jackman actually appears to be wearing Humprhey Bogart's wardrobe from the John Huston film, while Nicole Kidman seems to be reading Katherine Hepburn's di

New ‘Australia’ trailer
I’ve been hearing some good things about Hugh Jackman’s performance all along, but for some reason, he’s never cracked my Best Actor chart. It’s a crowded field, but anyway, this is a great trailer. I’m a Baz supporter through and through, and I’ve been told this isn’t the straight-up epic it appears to be from the materials released so far. It isn’t Baz restraining his vision for the sake of a style of film he hasn’t tackled yet; it is very much a
Another Great Australia Trailer
I'm not really into that romantic mumbo jumbo, however I am actually quite looking forward to Baz Luhrmann Australia. The previous trailers and imagery we have seen have been quite something, but this latest trailer has confirmed that I will be seeing this when it is released. The trailer starts off casually, exploring the predictable relationship between Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, and then BAM! The trailer switches. The epic…

New 'Australia' TV trailer looks impressive
MSN recently released what it calls an extended TV trailer for Baz Luhrmann's upcoming romance drama "Australia," which stars Nicole Kidman as an English aristocrat who teams up with a stockman (Hugh Jackman) to drive her cattle across Australia’s most unforgiving land and later faces the Japanese bombing of the city of Darwin.
As you can see and hear above (via Trailer Addict), the stunning music and beautiful images make this new footage look grand. I have to admit I am quite looking forward to seeing t
New trailer for Australia
We have a new trailer for Luhrmann's Australia. Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman star, and the new trailer looks great.
These films aren't usually my bag, but this one looks like it could be good.
Australia sees Nicole Kidman play an English aristocrat who inherits a large ranch. She sets off with a stock-man, Hugh Jackman, to make sure her property is not taken over. The pair have to drive 2,000 cattle across country. And along the way they witness the Japanese bombing of D

Looking Fine As Hell Like Always
Hugh Jackman looks smokin’ hot during a photo shoot on Friday morning in Sydney, Australia.
The Aussie actor, who turns 40 next Sunday, had the two favorite females in his life visit him on set–his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and their 3-year-old daughter Ava Eliot.
Next month, Hugh will be ramping up his press coverage. His upcoming movie, Australia, opens in theaters everywhere on Friday, November 26! This romantic drama from Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge), which is set in pre-World War II Austr

Our Third Annual Thanksgiving Movie Guide is Here!
Every year, Hollywood releases a handful of movies on Thanksgiving week. Whether they're movies to take the whole family to or just pure entertainment, there's always a wide variety to choose from. To help tackle this year's line-up, our writer Marco Cerritos has put together a Thanksgiving Movie Guide. He made sure to see every last movie playing in theaters this week, even the bad ones, in order to provide you with a cinematic compass of sorts. If you're struggling to figure out what to see this weekend,
THE FILM STRIP: Hugh Jackman on racism in 'Australia' and missing Halle Berry.
*In the film "Australia" Hugh Jackman is Drover, the clever cattleman, who is transformed by his caring for the orphan Nullah (Brandon Walters). The film not only mirrors events in Jackman's real life but some of the racist practices perpetuated against blacks in the United States.
Hugh Jackman: I nearly died falling off a horse filming Australia
Hugh plays a rancher on a cattle station in the Australian outback in the epic period film and had to spend a large amount of time on horseback during production - but a rearing horse presented a whole new challenge.
He explained: “Six months into training they brought in a rearing horse.
“The safety officer happened to be onset. He’s always a chump. He’s the guy nobody wants around. He came over with a motorcycle helmet and a padded jacket. He was like, ‘Please wear it, plea
Hugh Jackman DOES Want Wolverine in Japan!
Every bit of X-Men Origins: Wolverine news erodes my dignity a little bit more. Okay, I don't actually have any dignity ... but I really should be more patient before posting. Just a few days ago, I wound myself up over Jeff Katz's "last time I talked to Hugh Jackman, this is the Wolverine sequel he wanted" quote.
And now, Jackman himself sat down with MTV and confirmed that he really would love to take Wolverine to Japan. "The most intriguing thing to me was the Japan story. I love the Japan story. I wan
Hugh Jackman as ‘Wolverine’ on Empire Cover
Along with gracing the cover with claws and mutton chops, Jackman gives some insight as to what fans can expect from the X-Men prequel: “There’s a scene in the first X-Men movie, where Wolverine’s introduced in a bar, fighting in a cage, and you felt that he did this every night of his life. If this movie is successful, you should feel that this guy can walk straight off the end of this film and into that bar.”
Jackman isn’t the only one talking for the cover article. The magazine
Producer talks Wolverine Origin film
X Men Origins: Wolverine will be released in May next year, and new has been a little thin on the ground. Now one of the producers has been talking about what we can expect.
Lauren Shuler Donner pretty much sums it up in three words, and repeats them a lot.
For the uninitiated, X Men Origins: Wolverine, stars Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine from the X Men films. What can we expect from a film telling the back story of the mysterious Wolverine? Lauren Shuler Don

Brand New AUSTRALIA Poster
I’m in Ohio right now, and the only thing I don’t like being in the east coast is the time difference, my body is not adjusting very well. Cross your finger so that I won’t fall sick. While I’m trying to rest a bit, here’s the new poster, via traileraddict, of the upcoming epic drama AUSTRALIA (click on the image to enlarge) starring two Aussie pride and joy, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. Could this be in the same caliber as the classic film Casablanca?

New TV Spot for ‘Australia’ Should Defy Expectations
I'm not good with being subtle, so I will just come right out with it. The TV spot below, which is for Baz Luhrmann's next film Australia, is titled "Defy," thus the clever play on words in the title. Get it? Good.
The film, which stars Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman ...
