10 Things I Hate About You TV Series?
ABC Family has ordered a half-hour television pilot based on the 1999 teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You, which starred Julie Stiles, Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Many teenagers don’t realize that the film was actually a modern day tetelling of William Shakespeare’s Taming Of The Shrew (hence the film’s title - 10 Things I hate About You). Gil Junger, who filmed the original 1999 film will also helm the pilot.
The series will focus more on sisters Kate and Bianca Stratford f
10 Things I Hate About This Idea
It was announced today that ABC Family is going to adapt "10 Things I Hate About You" into a weekly TV series that will shift the focus from Patrick's courtship of Kat Stratford to her sibling rivalry with Bianca. I'm not a huge fan of this idea -- mostly because every time I've seen "10 Things" on TBS since January, Heath Ledger's tragic death is all I can think about and worry the same will be true of the TV series. But since I love this movie more than my Sketchers -- which is just because I don't have a

The series won't deviate too much from the feature, which itself was based on William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, following two polar-opposite sisters in high school.
Greek's Carter Covington will write and executive produce the single-camera show.
The network also greenlit Ruby and the Rockits, headlined by Sp

Would You Watch a TV Version of 10 Things I Hate About You?
I was a fan of 10 Things I Hate About You, the 1999 Taming of the Shrew update that starred Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger. But could a TV series based on the story also be great — or would that be taking things too far?
ABC Family is looking to find out, as they've just picked up a pilot for a potential series based on the movie. This one would focus more on the sisters, according to Zap2it:
Both girls attend Padua High and must juggle their social lives, boys and their over-protective dad, but approac

10 Things I Hate About You Coming To The Small Screen
10 Things I Hate About You is such a good, classic chick flick! I mean, seriously, who doesn't get a little misty eyed when Julia Stiles chokes up reading her poem in class? Well, ABC wants to take advantage of the success that the storyline had as a movie and bring it to the small screen.
The movie's director of "10 Things",
Gil Junger, will also shoot the pilot, which is written and executive
produced by Carter Covington. The series will focus more on sisters

News Bites: '10 Things' Heads to TV, Haters, and More
A long time passed since 10 Things I Hate About You hit the big screen. Julia Stiles got Bourne, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has become a powerhouse on the indie scene, and Heath Ledger ... we know what became of him. I'm guessing that his death and reminiscing moments about his work is what inspired this next piece of news: Ace Showbiz reports that ABC Family is going to make the Shakespeare-inspired film into a television series, with the film's director, Gil Junger, signed on to helm the pilot. In it, Kate and

He says, "I don't regret anything. With hindsight it's easy to look back at Batman and go, 'Woah! that was really sh**, and I was really bad in it.'
