Catherine Hardwicke Talks Twilight Sequel ‘New Moon’
Given that Twilight is now a big box office success and the sequel – based on follow-up novel New Moon – has been greenlit, likely director Catherine Hardwicke has been talking about the film’s challenges. While Hardwicke isn’t confirmed to helm the movie – she still has to work out a contract with the studio – she is ready for the job if all the details can be locked down.
“I want to do New Moon better than we did Twilight, and do it really cool,” she tells MTV. “I definitely donR

'Twilight' sequel ready to shoot in March?
As Joblo reports, lead actress Kristen Stewart recently talked to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM, saying the follow-up to the vampire romance may start shooting as early as March 2009.
People also tell me part of the second book takes place in Italy, and according to Stewart, they may even end up filming over there.
While talking to MTV recently, Hardwicke also chatted about the challenges she'll have to deal with in "New Moon."
“[Bella hearing Edward’s voice] would be one of the challenges for
New Moon Could Be Ready By The End Of 2009
Obviously there's been a lot of varying opinions on the Twilight movie. Some people are obsessed while other just feel lukewarm about the film. But, since it did so well, the sequel has been confirmed and the director, Catherine Hardwicke, says it could be ready by as soon as the end of 2009. I'm curious as to how they are going to keep the main vampire characters from aging if it takes them over a year to film and release a movie per book.

Catherine Hardwicke parla di New Moon, lupi e Volturi
Weitzman: We just can't get enough bad boy vampires
'Mad, bad, and dangerous to know." That's how one of Lord Byron's girlfriends described the 19th- century poet, a guy often considered to be one of popular culture's original bad boys. Byron also happened to be the modern model for a character we can't seem to kill: the irresistible vampire. The magnetic monster based on Byron had women swooning in 1819, and nearly two centuries later, girls are reacting just the same to the newest incarnation of the gorgeous undead: Edward Cullen.

Why Twilight Can't Beat Harry Potter
I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with Laremy. I enjoyed the Twilight movie, much to my own surprise. I've read the entire series and found the books to be anticlimactic and the Bella/Edward romance to be, at times, completely illogical. But I felt the movie brought the characters to life in a way the book didn't.
I loved that Catherine Hardwicke and Kristen Stewart emphasized what I find most interesting about Bella -- that she is an outsider by choice. She wanted no part of the popularity her n

Four Christmases, Won Thanksgiving
Americans defied the credit crunch this weekend to make the Thanksgiving holiday ultra-boffo, as they’d probably say over at Variety. Three high-profile new releases duked it out with some strong holdovers for the top spot and, when the dust had settled, one thing was clear: Vince Vaughn > vampires.
Four Christmases, the broad Vince Vaughn-Reese Witherspoon comedy, was the undisputed champ of both the three-day and five-day frames, pulling in an estimated $31.6 million and $46.7 million respectivel
