Anderson Cooper Has One New York Regret: Never Seeing That Drag Show [Anderson Cooper]
Anderson Cooper, CNN anchor and alleged dater of many fellows, has one great regret in his New York life. He has never seen a Kiki & Herb show. Kiki and Herb being, of course, singer/actor Justin Long in drag as old showbiz wash-up Kiki and Kenny Mellman as her devoted accompanist Herb. They tell wonderful showbiz stories and sing delightful covers of some really random songs. And the Coop has never been! He tells TONY of his drag cabaret shame:
If you could have a drink with another Top 40 person—J

Genetic Secrets Of Media Celebs [Celebrity Science]
Sure, you knew Anderson Cooper was the adorable unicorn of TV news anchors, but did you know he is so incredibly magical he can roll his tongue into a "really complicated four-leaf clover?" He can! Tongue-rolling is a genetic trait, but one can't help wonder if Cooper has had some practice. He apparently shows his skills only to certain, uh, special friends, like fellow closeted media personality Barry Diller, who, no joke, compared tongue technique with Cooper at a special retreat in Idaho. Some Google peo
Triumph goes to the RNC, talks to Cooper and Blitzer - VIDEOS
Filed under: Late Night, Video, Celebrities, Talk Show, Reality-FreeI thought I'd get this in before we get too far away from the Republican National Convention.
Conan O'Brien sent Triumph The Insult Comic Dog to St. Paul last week to cover the convention, and as usual the results are hilarious. He manages to get an interview with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper. Well, at first Cooper just sends him a note from across the convention hall (I won't spoil for you what the note says) but Triumph finally gets a face
The Silver Fox Is Easy
Anderson Cooper isn't fussy! Page Six spotted him getting his hair cut at a barber shop in NYC for $15.
Andy should have saved his sexy pennies. I have a Flowbee at home. I would have done it for free. And I would have thrown in a back massage....and a happy ending...and a prostate check.....and a candlelit dinner.... and a walk on the beach.... and a marriage proposal... and a.... DAMMIT! Why won't he return my 10,000 phone calls!? I just want to cut his hair! I JUST WANT TO LOVE HIM. Fuck. Excuse me, I h
Anderson Cooper Vs. Triumph!
The hilarious Triump, The Insult Comic Dog from Late Night With Conan O’Brien visited the Republican National Convention and bumped into CNN’s Anderson Cooper. Check out the video to see who, surprisingly, got pooped on.
Anderson Cooper's New Boyfriend Starring In New Movie About Stalking CNNers
The "spot Anderson Cooper's boyfriend" game started at least as far back as 2006, when we spied a one Julio Cesar Recio, then 24, enjoying outings with Silver Fox. Now downtown gossip queen Michael Musto kicks off the fall season of stalking Cooper's love interests by laying down a smidgen of a plant: "No, wait, this is better. Anderson Cooper. Jonathan Chase. Discuss at length." A subtle nudge toward somebody's manhood? Or a command to search on IMDB?
Because that would
Anderson's New Beau
Anderson Cooper may have a new boyfriend. Michael Musto implied that Cooper was dating one of the stars of Another Gay Movie, Jonathan Chase. I wish he'd date an actor in a better movie, but Chase IS totally cute.

Anderson Cooper is not emo!
Filed under: News, Celebrities, Reality-FreeNo, that doesn't say "Elmo," though I could understand the confusion because Anderson Cooper was on Sesame Street last year. I mean emo.
USA Weekend interviews Cooper and he talks about a lot of subjects, from the places he hasn't gone in the world that he'd like to visit (China), what's on his iPod (Marisa Monte), what he watches on TV (Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List?!), Hurricane Katrina, that he hasn't gone to the dentist in five years (I used to be like
Is Miley Cyrus' "7 Things" about Nick Jonas?
According to Brett Ratner, who directed the "7 Things" music video, it may be Nick Jonas who gave her his dirty socks.
Ah, Baby Girl, Don’t Hide. It’s Just Brett Ratner [A Call To The Bullpen]
Boomp3.com A mysterious woman wanted to remain in the shadows and darkness of Hollywood after she was spotted with hotshot filmmaker Brett Ratner outside of Hyde Lounge. Ratner attempted to use some of his directorial skills to make the woman feel more comfortable in front of the camera, but she continued to march down the street with her back turned. Not even running into a couple of doors and a pay phone would stop the woman from walking with a blind eye to the other side of Sunset Blvd. [Photo Credit: I
Network anchors flock to Republican convention
NEW YORK -- The top broadcast and cable television news anchors left the storm-drenched Gulf Coast today and headed to St. Paul, Minn., to report on the Republican National Convention as it resumed a full schedule.
CBS' Katie Couric, ABC's Charles Gibson and NBC's Brian Williams will arrive in Minnesota in time to anchor tonight's news specials about the GOP gathering, which was drastically scaled back Monday because of Hurricane Gustav. CNN's Anderson Cooper and Fox News' Shepard Smith also will rejoin
Should There Be A ‘Joker’ Spin-Off Film? Brett Ratner Thinks So
There can never be too much Batman -– which is why Brett Ratner proposes, once Christopher Nolan’s take on the Caped Crusader runs his course, that there be a few spin-off films.
“As a kid, Batman was my thing,” Ratner said. “I’m a little jealous that I didn’t get to direct it, although Nolan did a great job. But there are so many characters in the Batman series, so many characters that I love, that the opportunities for spin-offs are endless.”

Of course Brett Ratner would want a ‘Joker’ spin-off film

Michael Peña to board ‘The Green Hornet’?
The folks over at IESB.net had a brief chat with Michael Peña Tuesday at a press thing for “The Lucky Ones,” and apparently, the actor told them Seth Rogen offered him a role in “The Green Hornet.”
However, Peña did not say anything about which role he may end up playing. Stephen Chow is set to direct and star in the film along with Rogen, who is also writing the screenplay with Evan Goldberg.
Peña recently starred in “Lions for Lambs.” He will next be seen in “The Lucky Ones,” which op
No ‘Guitar Hero’ for Brett Ratner
Over the past months, Brett Ratner has been talking about his wish to direct a movie based on the popular “Guitar Hero” video game, but according to EW, it’s not going to happen anytime soon.
Apparently, the game’s parent company Activision doesn’t dig Ratner’s plan. "I'd really like to do it, but they're not letting me," Ratner told EW. "I expressed my interest, but because it's such a success, it's like now there's no reason to make a movie about it."
Still, Ratner said he’s not giving up
A “Big Lebowski” Sequel? Hoffman And Moore Are Game
Screw the “sky is falling” rumors that Brett Ratner might look at Nu Image’s Conan script, I figured we’d end Thursday with some much more exciting speculation: after yet another special edition DVD release of The Big Lebowski, two more co-stars are reportedly down for a sequel - assuming the Coen Brothers would ever be interested.
The idea’s been kicking around half-seriously ever since John Turturro first dreamt about a sequel involving his bowling ball-licking pederast Jesu
Brett Ratners ‘Superman’ Movie Details
As you may or may not know Brett Ratner and Bryan Singer swapped movies. Singer was on Board with X-Men 3 before he went and directed Superman and Ratner was on Superman before he ended up directing X-Men 3. If they only would have stayed where they belonged we probably would have got a great X-Men 3 movie and a great Superman movie. Whoa! Hold on there, don’t I hate Brett Ratner as a director? Yes. But maybe I wouldn’t hate him so much had he did the Superman because this sounds Awesome!Brett R
Clay Aiken, Broadway Star and American Idol, Reveals Shocking Gayness [Duh]
Not since the University of Alaska's 2006 study proving that bears do, in fact, shit in the woods has a more exciting and revelatory discovery been made: on the cover of the new issue of People magazine, American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken comes out of the closet. Yes I know. Take a seat and a deep breath before continuing.
The long-suspected homosexual (who got caught trolling for gay internet sex a few years back) recently had a kid through a surrogate and starred on Broadway in Spamalot. He made his

Early buzz: Tim and Eric, 'Zack and Miri' and more
Good morning, everybody! I hope all is well -- last night I ate Indian food and watched way too much CNN when I really wanted to be watching the True Blood pilot instead. Anderson Cooper can be mesmerizing in that way, I suppose.
Take a look at some headlines while I get ready for the office:
- Let's all have a moment of silence for Peanuts animator Bill Melendez, who died Tuesday . He was 91 and will be greatly missed. The Los Angeles Times also remembers him.
- Adult Swim's Tim and Eric are intervie
Next Iraq Movie Flop: “The Lucky Ones”
“The Lucky Ones,” from writer-director Neil Burger (”The Illusionist”) is cheap, ignorant, tone-deaf and condescending, but what’s strangest about it is that it actually thinks it’s pro-soldier even as it portrays Iraq vets home on leave as foolish (Rachel McAdams), desperate (Tim Robbins) and dishonorable (Michael Pena) while playing all three situations for laughs. (After sitting on the shelf for a year in the apparently futile hope that the Iraq situation would get worse, it’s d

To Make the 'Guitar Hero' Movie, Brett Ratner Needs You To Stop Buying the Game [Defamer Interviews]
While conducting interviews at the VMAs yesterday, the nearby booth advertising Rock Band 2 was the cacophonous bane of our existence — though no one was more unhappy to see it than director Brett Ratner. As you may recall, the Defamer-beloved auteur (and big penis enthusiast) aspires to direct a film adaptation based on Rock Band's rival video game franchise, Guitar Hero. Since the idea continues to boggle our minds, we knew we had to venture a question, even if the resulting Defamer-on-Ratner interactio
Brett Ratner On The J.J. Abrams’ Superman That Might Have Been
Once upon a time, Bryan Singer and Brett Ratner swapped movies – Brett got the third “X-Men” and Bryan got “Superman,” which in his hands was “Superman Returns” starring Brandon Routh. We all know how that turned out.
But what would have happened if Ratner had continued along his merry way and done the “Superman” he wanted? What would it have been about? Brendan Fraser, who saw the script written by J.J. Abrams, was impressed. So was Ratner, who filled us in on the storyline and casting p
