‘Australia’ Delayed
The film was originally set for release on November 14th, but now they’re moving it to November 26th, five days after Harry Potter would have debuted on the 21st, had it not been moved. Without the Potter juggernaut to steal your cash, Australia doesn’t have to worry about trying to get its share before Potter hits theaters. It’ll be easier fending off Bolt and Twilight, which are now opening on the 21st instead.
Makes sense, Potter is such a huge movie, all the others need to scoop up the

The film is due out on November 13, but insiders say Luhrmann is still shooting scenes and polishing the film in a scramble to make the deadline, as well as working on Tourism Australia advertis

Hugh Jackman is protective over his former costar Scarlett Johansson – but says she has a good man in his X-Men colleague Ryan Reynolds.
"Ryan Reynolds is one of the funniest guys I've ever met," Wolverine's alter ego, currently promoting his new movie Deception, tells Entertainment Tonight Canada.
Adds Jackman: "And umm, we had a really good chat about his girlfriend, because I'm very fond of Scarlett, and both my wife [Deborra-Lee Furness] and I are very [proprietary] about Scarlett, [and] he got

Director and Studio Battling Over X-Men Origins: Wolverine?
These power struggles just never end in Hollywood. We finally are hearing a solid report from Jeffrey Wells at Hollywood Elsewhere that there is some sort of power struggle going on with X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Apparently we've got another case of a studio exec, Fox's Tom Rothman, trying to change a character to fit the widest possible audience when the director, Gavin Hood, who knows what he's doing, has been shooting something they don't like.
I also remember writing numerous articles, like this one
Neil Marshall to direct Hugh Jackman in "Drive"
Although there was some disappointment over the performance of his latest movie Doomsday in the US, director Neil Marshall is hopping right back in to the driving seat. Or at least he'll be putting Hugh Jackman in the driving seat.
Marshall has signed a deal with Universal to direct Jackman in Drive, an adaptation of a book by James Sallis. Jackman will play a stunt driver who moonlights as a getaway man in heists. His already quite exciting life gains a new edge when he discovers that there's a contract

Wolverine Unveiled
One of the biggest surprises today at Comic Con came at the end of the Fox panel when, unscheduled, a very special guest appeared. Coming straight from filming in Australia, Hugh Jackman leapt onstage to introduce the first footage from Gavin Hood’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Needless to say the crowd went absolutely mental.
What was shown was a sizzle reel of footage that will likely form the basis of the first trailer. Action-packed isn’t even the word for it and several scenes, including appearanc
