It will be interesting to see how both sides of the aisle react to this movie. If it’s seriously damaging to the President’s reputation (which is how the clips look), I can only imagine that the Republicans will be crying and the Democrats will be cheering. And vice versa. And I just have to say how much I love this poster. The Oliver Stone-directed biopic stars Josh Brolin as George W. Bush, Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush, James Cromwell as George Herbert Walker Bush, Ellen Burstyn as Barbar

Further W. Talk
My Tuesday chat with W. director Oliver Stone at the Four Seasons. And here's the press conference with Stone, Josh Brolin, Scott Glenn, Richard Dreyfuss, Rob Corddry, Thandie Newton, Elizabeth Banks, James Cromwell. W.: TV Spot #1
In an unprecedented undertaking, acclaimed director Oliver Stone is bringing the life of our 43rd President to the big screen as only he can. W. takes viewers through Bush's eventful life -- his struggles and triumphs, how he found both his wife and his faith, and of course the critical days leading up to Bush's decision to invade Iraq. The film stars Josh Brolin as George W. Bush, Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush, James Cromwell as George Herbert Walker Bush, Ellen Burstyn as Barbara Bush, Thandie Newton a

Full Trailer for Oliver Stones ‘W’
Venkman here with the full trailer for Oliver Stones new movie ‘W’. Do you think this movie is an over exaggeration or right on, with who are current president is? I don’t think this movie was made to bash the man, but more to huminize him. What would any of us do if we were in his shoes? He was just a regular American guy that became our President. Whether you love him or hate him, there is no question that George W. Bush is one of the most controversial public figures in recent memory.

New Images: Oliver Stone's 'W.'
Filed under: Comedy, Drama, Fandom, Movie Marketing, Images More photos from Oliver Stone's upcoming George W. Bush satire, W., have arrived online via USA Today, and a good amount of them show what it looked like behind the scenes on one of this fall's most talked-about films. Above you get a pretty good look at Stone going over notes with Thandie Newton (Condoleeza Rice), Scott Glenn (Donald Rumsfeld), Bruce McGill (George Tenet), Josh Brolin (George W. Bush), Jeffrey Wright (Colin Powell) and Richard Dr

"W" Preview and Trailer
W. is headed to screens Oct. 17, 2008. It’s Oliver Stone’s story about George W. Bush, taking us through his life, struggles and triumphs, marriage to Laura, development of his faith, and the critical days leading up to his decision to invade Iraq. What do you think about this? I just keep thinking how weird it would be to have a movie made about you. I’m sure Stone will give us his version of the events, and they’ll probably be really dramatic and possibly untrue. I’d like s

The new W. film trailer
The second trailer from the controversial yet demented trailer of W. has just come out. Lionsgate are trying to cash on a very approach taken by the director to promote this film. Josh Brolin seems to be studying the mannerism of the president as close as possible. The film will try not to reconcile and it won’t be a tribute to the man in question. It might turn out to be a huge unintended comedy. But not many people have gotten the chance to see the film close hand. So I just hope Oliver Stone courage to

'W' Trailer Makes Commentary on Bush's Funny Face and Post-Punk Policies
Alright, Oliver Stone, if you want to make your W trailer into an abbreviated Talking Heads video, that's fine, but at least make Josh Brolin do the appropriate dance moves for it. As it stands, he's just doing a lot of funny faces and spitting pretzel out of his mouth, which doesn't make for that entertaining of a movie. Still though: take that, Bush! Two New Photos From Oliver Stone’s W.
Liosngate has released a couple new production photos from Oliver Stone’s George W. Bush biopic - W. The photo above shows George W. Stone takes control: Oliver Stone's biopic of George W Bush
On Monday, Oliver Stone's hotly anticipated George Bush biopic, W, starring Josh Brolin as the beleaguered President and Thandie Newton as Condoleezza Rice, premiered to a Los Angeles audience. The celebrity-heavy, predictably partisan gathering (Jodie Foster, Barbra Streisand, Al Pacino) was billed quite particularly as a "special screening" by Lionsgate, distributor of the Oscar-winning Crash and producer of the Emmy-winning Mad Men. Verdicts at the (not a premiere) party were reportedly positive across t

Hockey Player, Vogue Intern, and Masturbator Sean Avery to Get His Own Movie [The Cinema]
In what is some of the fastest turnaround in real-thing-to-movie time that we can remember, the story of Sean Avery, former NHL player and, paradoxically, former Vogue women's fashion intern, is being turned into a movie. It will be a romantic comedy, because no romantic comedies about the high-gloss world of fashion and New York frivolity have ever been made. We wonder though, what will the love interest plot line be like? Will there be jerking off?Yes jerking off! We can just picture a moment when the act

'I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell' trailer hits: VIDEO
I admit I had a good time reading Tucker Max's filthy and ridiculously vulgar best seller "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell," but to be honest, I wish he would've left it at that without turning it into a movie. But hey, many cinemagoers out there are in love with ultra-gross comedies full of dirty talk and offensive sex jokes, and for those who don't like to read, they will soon be able to follow some of Tucker's adventures on the big screen. The book essentially focused on a whole series of...

Jesse Bradford, Steven Weber, Bob Odenkirk and Edward Herrmann are joining the satirical comedy "Son of Morning." Producer-star Joseph Cross plays an ad copywriter who returns home to mediate his parents' divorce and after a series of environmental disasters is mistaken for Jesus Christ. He becomes surrounded by people trying to capitalize on his fame, including a Hollywood agent (Bradford) and a lieutenant governor (Weber).
