Two New 'Wolfman' Posters, And One Is Even Good: PHOTO
What to do about The Wolfman ? Originally, this was a fantastic idea. Universal was going all the way back to its vaults and reintroducing the monster movies of the 1930s, most of which have stood the test of time. You had Rick Baker doing make-up effects (the created the Oscar in that category for his work on An American Werewolf in London , still unsurpassed), and Mark Romanek ( One Hour Photo ) lined up to direct Benicio Del Toro , Anthony Hopkins , Emily Blunt , and Hugo Weaving . Romanek...
First Poster for The Wolfman: PHOTO
After giving us two trailers for The Wolfman , Universal Pictures has finally gotten around to making a poster. There's only one catch, as the poster is lacking a Wolfman. The Wolfman Poster Inspired by the classic Universal film that launched a legacy of horror, The Wolfman brings the myth of a cursed man back to its iconic origins. Oscar® winner Benicio Del Toro stars as Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his...
Official Poster for 'The Wolfman' Debuts: PHOTO
The official poster for director Joe Johnston's The Wolfman hit the web today. It's a nice moody splash of high contrast black and white featuring Emily Blunt, which seems to be designed to suggest the presence of The Wolfman, rather than show him outright. Check it out directly below.
WHERE WOLFMAN? THERE. THERE WOLFMAN.: PHOTO
I guess Universal was just fucking with us with that Wolfman-free The Wolfman poster this morning. Poor Cinematical, getting the poster without a money shot! And what a money shot. It looks like the cover of The Wolfman's acoustic album of breakup songs. Don't cry, fuzzy. Click here to see the entire poster.
The Wolfman, teaser posters: PHOTO
(click to enlarge) Nice work. Minimalist austerity soaked with potently evocative emotion. The moments of frozen dread don’t feel posed, they feel poised to run, poised to pounce. See, is this so hard? I don’t ask for much. I’m even thrilled to see somebody took care with this pair of teaser posters to make sure the angles tilted at the same degree. Just give us the tiniest indication that there’s a unifying creative vision in the marketing. Doesn’t have to be all...
Update: 2 Wolfman Teaser Posters Claw Online: PHOTO
Update: Okay, there are two teasers posters. The second just went live at AICN (it actually features The Wolfman. So whatever we wrote below? That's us with egg on our face. Teaser one-sheet art for Universal Pictures' upcoming remake of The Wolfman premiered at Cinematical this afternoon. Ominous, but underwhelming. It's a shot from the trailer - featuring co-star Emily Blunt - that has been used for banners, um, but where's The Wolfman, exactly? At least have him prowling about in the...

Exclusive: 'The Wolfman' Poster Premiere!: PHOTO
Click image below to view full poster Cinematical has just received this exclusive new poster for The Wolfman , due in theaters February 12, 2010. As you can tell from above, this latest bit of marketing for the Joe Johnston directed resurrection of Universal's classic shows off the gentler side of The Moon-fearing creature feature. It's a simple image of Emily Blunt , who plays Benicio Del Toro's romantic interest in the film, hiding with baited breath behind a tree in the mist-filled forest...
Emily Blunt is Freaked Out on New -Wolfman' Poster: PHOTO
Here’s the newest poster for the upcoming film Wolfman starring Emily Blunt and Benicio Del Toro . She looks scared, this movie just doesn’t look very scary. I have huge doubts about this one, I’m expecting it to be bad. Why else would they have pushed it’s release to mid February? Oh well, maybe I’ll be wrong. Source: Cinema Blend
The Wolfman Cometh: PHOTO
Cinematical has an exclusive on the latest The Wolfman poster, which you can see below. The poster is more suggestive of terror than anything, featuring Emily Blunt hiding in an ancient, decrepit forest from Benicio Del Toro’s wolfman. It has a stylistic black and white, overlit, grainy quality that blends well with the feel of the film. The Wolfman also stars Hugo Weaving and Anthony Hopkins and will be released in theaters on February 12th, 2010. Related Articles Leave a Reply Click here...
New Wolfman Poster Lacks Fangs: PHOTO
Rather than keeping with the extreme close-ups of Del Toro as the title creature, the latest one-sheet for The Wolfman remake takes a far more subtle approach by focusing on one of the film's other characters. Our friends over at Cinematical scored the first look at the new artwork, which features star Emily Blunt hiding for all she's worth. I'm guessing we're gonna be seeing more of these character driven posters soon. They usually release things like this in sets. Look for the film in theatres...
