Euro-zone Oct. Annual Inflation Estimated At -0.1%
LONDON -- Annual consumer price Inflation in the 16-nation euro zone remained in negative territory in October, falling 0.1%, the statistics agency Eurostat said in a preliminary estimate Friday. Consumer prices fell at an annual rate of 0.3% in September.

Stocks slide as rising dollar hits Oil Prices NEW YORK (AP) - A strengthening dollar and worries about an overheated market pounded stocks on Monday. Stock indexes started the day higher but turned sharply lower at midmorning as Interest Rates rose and a rebound in the value of The Dollar stalled a rally in commodities. Eurozone jobless worst since 1999
Unemployment levels across the 16 countries that use the euro rose to 9.7% in September, the highest rate since January 1999. This brought the number of people unemployed across the Eurozone region to 15.3 million.

Crude oil price climbs sharply
NEW YORK, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Crude Oil Prices surged to nearly $80 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange Thursday despite the government saying stockpiles remain high. The U.S. Energy Information Administration said Wednesday that Crude Oil inventories were above the upper limit of the average level for this time of year. Texas pump prices up 9 cents; Houston averages $2.53
IRVING — Retail gasoline Prices in Texas have gone up 9 cents a gallon since last week. AAA Texas reported on Thursday that the average price per gallon at the pump was $2.56. Prices increased 7 cents nationally to $2.69. Houston, Galveston and San Antonio had the lowest price at $2.53 a gallon; El Paso had the most expensive gas at $2.67, up 16 cents since last week. Grain futures rise Thursday
Chicago, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Grain futures rose sharply on the Chicago Board of Trade Thursday as equities surged on Wall Street and Oil Prices made gains. Corn was up 10 1/2 to up 11, soybeans were up 16 1/4 to up 17, wheat was up 9 to up 10 1/4 and oats were up 9 1/2 to up 10 1/4.
