David Spade, 44, has confirmed that he’s the father to a baby girl, born on August 26 to an ex girlfriend, Playboy Playmate Jillian Grace, 22. It seems it took so long to make the confirmation to the press because they were waiting for the DNA results to come back, at least that’s what I’m reading into it. E! Online titled their story “DNA IDs Daughter for David Spade,” although there’s nothing about a paternity test in the article itself:

David Spade, 45, is the father of a baby girl born in Missouri to Playboy Playmate Jillian Grace, 22, his rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com on Wednesday.
"I had a brief relationship with Jillian Grace," the Rules of Engagement star told TMZ in January. "If it is true that I am the father of her child, then I will accept responsibility."
The baby was born on August 26.
Grace was discovered after posing for test shots on the Howard Stern Show.
