Dancing With The Stars: Week 3 Results

www.tvsquad.com - 8th Oct 2008

Misty May-Treanor: Filed under: Celebrities, Dancing With The Stars, Episode Reviews (S07E07) Things were a little different for the results show this week. The unfortunate injury that forced Misty May-Treanor out of the competition left the producers in a quandary. If they were to eliminate another team, they would be a week short for the planned season. Personally, I would have rather seen an elimination tonight and an extra week tacked on somewhere down the line. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. Much like what we saw when Sara Evans quit the show, they stretched, and stretched, before getting to the announcement. Along with that slow coming revelation, they also managed to have the best collection of music and dance of the season so far.

Dancing With the Stars 7: Injuries Galore This Week!
This was another surprising week on Dancing With the Stars. We found out that there were three injuries during rehearsals this week. Derek Hough fell and knocked himself out cold when he hit his head on the floor. Susan Lucci twisted her ankle, but taped it up and performed a jive anyway. And tragically, Olympic athlete Misty May-Treanor tore her achilles tendon!!! YIKES!! That’s one of the most painful leg injuries possible! Sadly, she had to bow out of the competition because she had to have surg

Dancing With The Stars: Brooke Burke's Amazing Bod (Video)
The new season of Dancing With The Stars has started and although I'm not a regular watcher, I did catch the first show.  Brooke Burke is one of the 'stars' on the show, and I think she danced well - I was slightly preoccupied with her abs, so I'm not 100% sure of her dancing abilities.  The woman is a mom of four and the youngest is only 6 months old!  Watch the video and you too, will hate her.  Ha.Video after the jump!Lotsa cleavage going on too.

Dancing With the Stars 7: The Most Fun Dances This Week
This week’s performances were almost all very, very good for the second week. The judges highly favored both Brooke Burke & Warren Sapp, but I have to admit that one of my favorites was not the same. Yes, I thought Warren Sapp was fantastic and the routine that he and Kym Johnson did with a “Matrix-esque” feel, was so much fun, But Brooke Burke’s dance just didn’t WOW me this week. (I’m not a huge fan of the paso doble…it’s just not my favorite.) Here&

10/7 Dancing with the Stars Results. Who Went Home?
No one goes home tonight, because of the forced departure of Misty May-Treanor due to her injury, but the judges scores Will be additive next week, so the low couple at the bottom of the totem pole Will have ground to make up in the votes next week. It comes down to who “WOULD” have been going home rather than who Will… for now. In no particular order, they call out the names, only saying that the last couple has the lowest point total. 1. Brooke & Derek 2. Cloris and Corky (Please!)

Chef DiSpirito Keeps 'Dancing With The Stars'
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Rocco DiSpirito will serve seconds on "Dancing with the Stars." The celebrity chef came in last place on the ABC dancing competition, but he wasn't dismissed because injured contestant Misty May-Treanor dropped out of the competition Monday. The two-time Olympic beach volleyball gold medalist had surgery Tuesday to repair her Achilles' tendon that was torn while rehearsing a jive routine Friday. "I think Misty had the potential to get all the way through to the final," said judge Len Go

Cody Linley and Brooke Burke Perform On Dancing with the Stars
Dancing with the Stars” likes to tout its superlatives and firsts from one season to the next, and season seven is no different: this time, we’ve got the largest cast (13 people), the oldest star (Cloris Leachman, 82), the youngest star (Cody Linley, 18), the most nights of any season premiere (3), and the most eliminations the first week (2). The main stories of the first night were as follows: (a) the judges apparently resolved not to start the scoring inflation so early this time around, (b) Cloris

Rocco & Karina Spared Dancing Elimination
While her fellow Dancing with the Stars contestants were sad to see an injured Misty May-Treanor leave the competition, one couple got an unexpected reprieve because of it. On Tuesday’s Results show, it was revealed that Rocco DiSpirito and his partner Karina Smirnoff would have been voted off the show if the volleyball star hadn’t been forced to withdraw from the competition Monday with a torn Achilles tendon. The announcement came as a surprise to the four remaining couples awaiting their

Misty May-Treanor is done. She sprained her ankle in practice. She wouldn’t win, so it was a good time to get out. She ruptured her Achilles tendon. So, that is a pretty major injury. And what is interesting about it is that she is the most athletic of anyone here. We hope it wont hurt Misty in volleyball. We know she is competitive, but her age is catching up. Susan & Tony (7/10) Susan looks so amateurish. Her movements are like she is dancing karaoke. She looks like someone learning h

9/29 Dancing With The Stars: Performances and Prediction. Will Cloris Stay Another Week? We Hope Not!
Toni this week was untouchable in her gown.  She was the bell of the ball by so far, it was seriously unfair.  The only reason anyone would vote against her would be jealousy.  The dance was slow, provocative and sensual.   Judges score: 23.  A slight understatement by the judges, but overall, right on. 2.      Brooke and Derek (7/10) Great outfits, but the dance was stiff.  They started getting it on in the middle, but there was little chemistry, minimal eye contact, just lots of flash.  Nice

Dancing With the Stars 7: As Cold as Siberia…?
OK, I’m guilty of saying negative things about Kim Kardashian’s level of passion in her dance moves, but I wasn’t the one that did the most dissing this week! The judges were downright mean to her. The worst was Bruno Tonioli. He told her that her dancing was: …as cold and as distant as Siberia. Now THAT’S harsh! I am not surprised that she went home this week, I was surprised that Ted McGinley went home before her. But that’s no reason to be cruel. She was trying to

Brooke Burke @ "Dancing With The Stars" Studio
‘Dancing with the Stars’: Brooke Burke, Warren Sapp, and Toni Braxton lead the pack Brooke and Derek’s paso doble was performed to that dramatic music that used to be in the diamond commercials -- you know the ones. The judges admired the dance (and, presumably, Brooke’s pushed-up bosom), if not quite as much as they admired the quickstep last week -- Carrie Ann called it a “hair off-balance.” Score: 24/30. Dancing with the Stars 7: Top 10 Results Recap
If you predicted that no one would leave tonight on Dancing with the Stars tonight because Misty May-Treanor dropped out, you were right. If you didn't figure it out, Tom Bergeron probably thinks you're a moron. In the final five minutes of the Dancing with the Stars results show, Bergeron casually stated that no one would be going home, making it sound as if this were something we all generally agreed upon when, in actuality, Bergeron and the show dragged it out for 55 minutes, because if they started th

Dancing with the Stars Oct 7: Dancing with the Stars results

Kim: ‘I’d Totally Go Back’ to Dancing If Asked
With Misty May-Treanor injured, Dancing with the Stars is prematurely down one competitor. So could recently ousted Kim Kardashian be on her way back to the ballroom? “I would totally go back if they asked me,” the reality star said during an interview Tuesday on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “I’m not a performer and I would have loved that chance to at least have one breakthrough dance where the judges gave me a positive score and some positive feedback.” Kardash
