“Dancing With the Stars”: Is Brooke Our Winner?
I’m one “Dancing with the Stars” watcher who hasn’t been caught up in all the Warren Sapp hype. OK, he has some good moves — for a big man. And he is an entertainer. But so is Brooke Burke and she kicks his butt when it comes to techincal wizardry. So hand her the ugly trophy right now.
Dancing a superb freestyle to the “Grease” tune of “You’re the One That I Want,” Burke and her partner Derek Hough displayed moves that John Travolta and Olivia Ne
Brooke Burke: 'If it can't be me, I'd want Lance'
Brooke Burke says that if she doesn't take home the disco ball trophy tonight on Dancing With The Stars, she hopes Lance Bass does. "I guess if it can't be me, I'd want Lance to take it home," she said in a radio interview. (Ouch - poor Warren Sapp!) Last night, the three final celebs danced their way to their usual spots - Brooke in first with 58, Lance and Warren tied with 53. Obviously, as judge Len Goodman said, "Brooke is the one to beat."

Review - Dancing With The Stars - Season 7, Episode 20
After 9 long weeks of competition, the choice comes down to Brooke Burke, arguably the best dancer, Warren Sapp, allegedly the best entertainer, and Lance Bass, certainly the one who is hitting his stride.
The three finalists danced a combined samba with solos for each couple. Warren does seem to be dancing more and actually moving his feet. Brooke was great as always, and Lance was holding his own.
Each couple then performed a solo, freestyle dance.
Brooke and Derek Hough brought their A-game in their

Kris Jenner's Backstage Interviews with 'DWTS' Finalists
After the first half of the "Dancing with the Stars" finale wrapped Monday night, "The Insider"'s special correspondent Kris Jenner was backstage to speak to the finalists and hear them reflect about their time on the hit series.
"I don't really get emotional too often, but I got really emotional after we finished that because...I'm constantly questioning myself," pro Derek Hough tells Kris about his latest performance with partner Brooke Burke. "And we go out there, she nails it, and it all comes together
Brooke Burke Dominates Dancing with the Stars Final
If America votes the way the judges scored last night, Brooke Burke will go down as the first-ever Dancing with the Stars champion to have posed for Playboy. Twice.
The often-naked model outperformed fellow finalists Warren Sapp and Lance Bass during the opening night of the finals, as judge Len Goodman told her: "You were the one to beat in week one and i think you’re still the one to beat in week 10."
Here's a summary of scores and routines from last night:

Injured Misty May-Treanor leaves "Dancing With the Stars," Cloris Leachman loses her wig, Warren Sapp impresses
Here's a prediction: Warren Sapp is going to win "Dancing With the Stars." More on that later.
Now to the news: Olympic gold-medalist Misty May-Treanor announced Monday night that she is leaving ABC's highest-rated show with a ruptured Achilles' tendon. But ABC won't reveal what her exit means until Tuesday's results show. (Thanks, ABC, for nothing.) And that results show will air at 8 p.m. on WFTV-Channel 9 because of the presidential debate at 9.
At this point, Sapp and Brooke Burke loom as
‘Dancing’ finale proves it: Judges want Brooke
Most “Dancing With The Stars” performance finales end the same way: the judges praise everyone (or at least two out of three final couples), and the whole thing is thrown to the audience vote as a relatively close contest. Monday night, the season seven finale was different. From the opening blast of the horns in the band, the judges made it clear that Brooke Burke, who’s been the strongest technical dancer all season but never the most interesting or creative, should be the winner. 10/7 Dancing with the Stars Results. Who Went Home?
No one goes home tonight, because of the forced departure of Misty May-Treanor due to her injury, but the judges scores Will be additive next week, so the low couple at the bottom of the totem pole Will have ground to make up in the votes next week.
It comes down to who “WOULD” have been going home rather than who Will… for now.
In no particular order, they call out the names, only saying that the last couple has the lowest point total.
1. Brooke & Derek

Burke poised to win 'Dancing With the Stars'
Brooke Burke could be the one who wins "Dancing With the Stars."
The 37-year-old model-actress and her professional partner, Derek Hough, dominated the popular ABC dancing competition's final round Monday night, receiving a combined score of 58 out of 60 from the judges. Burke wowed the audience with a lively and twirly freestyle routine set to "You're the One That I Want" from "Grease."

"That, I think, was the best freestyle I've ever seen," head judge Len Goodman told Burke.
'Dancing' judges love the look of Brooke
At the end of the "Dancing with the Stars" finals Monday night, Brooke Burke might have led the pack in terms of total points, but it was still anybody's game when the sequins settled. After the group "samba smackdown" in which judge Len Goodman gave out some shocking scores (a "7" to Warren, an "8" to Lance) it was down to business in the freestyle. Burke wowed all three judges, earning a perfect "30." Lance Bass and partner Lacey Schwimmer (unfortunately) chose a hip-hop routine that just didn't pack enou
Dancing Recap: Brooke Leads, Lance & Warren Tie
Leading up to the Dancing with the Stars final, the three remaining contestants echoed the sentiment it’s “anyone’s game.” With that mentality–and their eyes on the mirror-ball trophy–all three brought their A game with some surprising results.
The night’s competition kicked off with the samba smackdown, a group dance that featured the three dancing couples showcasing the samba invidividually, then reuniting to finish the routine as a group. It was clear the momen
DiSpirito evades dismissal on 'Dancing with the Stars'
LOS ANGELES - Rocco DiSpirito will serve seconds on "Dancing with the Stars."
The chef was in last place on the ABC dancing competition, but he wasn't dismissed because injured contestant Misty May-Treanor dropped out of the competition Monday. The two-time Olympic beach volleyball gold medallist had surgery Tuesday to repair her left Achilles' tendon that was torn while rehearsing for a jive routine on the show's ballroom set Friday.
"I think Misty had the potential to get all the way through to the fi

Misty May-Treanor is done. She sprained her ankle in practice. She wouldn’t win, so it was a good time to get out. She ruptured her Achilles tendon. So, that is a pretty major injury. And what is interesting about it is that she is the most athletic of anyone here. We hope it wont hurt Misty in volleyball. We know she is competitive, but her age is catching up.

Who got kicked off 'Dancing?'
As we suspected, no one was sent home on Dancing With The Stars Tuesday because Misty May-Treanor dropped out due to injury. But as no one would have ever guessed, Cloris Leachman was deemed safe early on. The bottom two were Lance Bass and Rocco DiSpirito (left). Rocco "would have gone home," said Tom Bergeron, but he got a reprieve thanks to Misty. He drew the lowest scores.
In addition to the results, there was a performance by Jennifer Hudson, featuring brother and sister act, Derek and Jul
Beat the Experts: Who Will Leave DWTS Tonight?
It's time to Beat the Experts, and it doesn't look like you guys are doing too well. Last week both you, the readers, and Vegas oddsmaker Benjamin Eckstein said Cloris Leachman would be going home, and I said it would be Rocco DiSpirito, so it looks like the score stands as zero-all. Let's see how we all fare this week.
I was quite surprised by tonight's episode—everyone really stepped it up this week. I felt like I was watching semiprofessional dancers. The Water Diva (aka Warren Sapp) and Brooke Bu

TV TODAY: House handles a hostage-taker
TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE: "House," 8 p.m., WJBK-TV, Channel 2, Fox.
Dr. House is in Cutter's office, searching for secrets.
Then a weary man arrives. He has a gun and hostages; he has everyone frightened, except the acerbic House.
What follows is strong drama, a throwback to TV's golden age. The episode is directed beautifully by Katie Jacobs, who gets fine work from Zeljko Ivanek and Hugh Laurie as the gunman and House. One rages, one shrugs; drama grows.
