Cloris Leachman: Cloris Leachman hangs tough, too.Rocco DiSpirito and his pro partner Karina Smirnoff would have been ousted from "Dancing with the Stars" this week if Misty May-Treanor hadn't bowed out due to injury, said the judges on Tuesday night's elimination-free results show. “You've got to raise the game, come back to impress,” Bruno Tonioli urged the near-evictees, while Len Goodman assured the masses that Misty and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy would not have been going home, had she been healthy: “Misty had the potential to get all the way through to the final,” Len said. In a new twist, this week's scores will be combined with next week's -- meaning the low-scoring duos will have a tougher mountain to climb when they take the dance floor next Monday. Dancing With the Stars 7: Injuries Galore This Week!
This was another surprising week on Dancing With the Stars. We found out that there were three injuries during rehearsals this week. Derek Hough fell and knocked himself out cold when he hit his head on the floor. Susan Lucci twisted her ankle, but taped it up and performed a jive anyway. And tragically, Olympic athlete Misty May-Treanor tore her achilles tendon!!! YIKES!! That’s one of the most painful leg injuries possible! Sadly, she had to bow out of the competition because she had to have surg

New Video: Cloris Leachman on Proving Herself to the ‘DWTS’ Judges
Cloris Leachman doesn’t talk jive — she dances it! ET joins the 82-year-old Oscar winner and pro-partner Corky Ballas as they rehearse the jive, the next routine they’ll attempt on "Dancing with the Stars." Read on to learn why Cloris thinks she’s got something to prove to the judges! "First of all, you can’t hear what they [the judges] are saying that night. There’s so much noise," Cloris tells ET. "You either like it or you don’t like it &#

DWTS' Rocco DiSpirito "It's Fair" I Wasn't Dismissed
Despite coming in last place on Tuesday's Dancing With the Stars, Rocco DiSpirito wasn't dismissed because injured contestant Misty May-Treanor dropped out. "We're grateful to have another chance!" he told Usmagazine.com after the show. "We're bummed that Misty's gone, bummed that Misty got hurt... We're really going to have to do a lot of work to honor Misty through our dancing in this competition! "Every week I wanted to know where I stood, and now I know exactly where I stand!" he went on. "You ca

Cloris Leachman Conjures Swinging Wig Hops Of The 1950s In Unhinged 'Dancing' Performance [Fear]
newVideoPlayer("/cloriswig_def.flv", 506, 423,""); As far as nightmare-fueling Dancing with the Stars performances go, nothing in the sequence above even approaches Marie Osmond's legendary Baby Doll Dance of Despair—a harrowing journey into wind-up madness that to this day makes our left eyelid twitch whenever we hear the song "Start Me Up" or see the color pink. We'll extend that now to fuchsia, too, as it seems Cloris Leachman's hairpiece-malfunction-plagued rockabilly ballet has already burrowed

Dancing With the Stars 7: As Cold as Siberia…?
OK, I’m guilty of saying negative things about Kim Kardashian’s level of passion in her dance moves, but I wasn’t the one that did the most dissing this week! The judges were downright mean to her. The worst was Bruno Tonioli. He told her that her dancing was: …as cold and as distant as Siberia. Now THAT’S harsh! I am not surprised that she went home this week, I was surprised that Ted McGinley went home before her. But that’s no reason to be cruel. She was trying to

DWTS' Cloris Leachman: "I Don't Have Any Worries" About Being Eliminated
Cloris Leachman hasn't exactly been a hit on Dancing With the Stars. (Judge Bruno Tonioli joked that she resembled her Young Frankenstein character while dancing the paso doble Monday night.) So is she fretting that she may get the boot on tonight's show? (Chef Rocco DiSpirito's fate on the show also remains questionable.) "I don't have any worries," Leachman, 82, told Usmagazine.com after Monday's show. "I'm planning on staying even if I have to go home." She joked that changing her hair from blo

Rocco DiSpirito's Nets Lowest Number Of Votes But Carries On 'Dancing'
LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- On Tuesday night's "Dancing With the Stars," Rocco DiSpirito and Karina Smirnoff were down in votes, but they weren't out of the competition. During "Dancing's" results show, host Tom Bergeron revealed that Rocco and Karina scored the lowest amount of votes following Monday's competition portion of the show, but the celebrity chef and his professional partner were saved to dance again. You Just Have To Love Cloris Leachman [Snap Judgment]

Dancing with the Stars: It should have been Cloris Leachman (again) but Kim Kardashian left the door open
Somehow foul-mouthed Cloris Leachman was spared another week (you people voting know who you are) and the next weakest dance link Kim Kardashian was let go. Some would disagree with me that Rocco DiSpirito should have gotten the ax after a poor dance Monday. But Roco has had a good dance or two in past performances and he engages the audience when he dances. Kim on the other hand gave the same wooden performance 3 straight times at least far as the judges were concerned.  For someone so in the spotlight i

Rocco & Karina Spared Dancing Elimination
While her fellow Dancing with the Stars contestants were sad to see an injured Misty May-Treanor leave the competition, one couple got an unexpected reprieve because of it. On Tuesday’s Results show, it was revealed that Rocco DiSpirito and his partner Karina Smirnoff would have been voted off the show if the volleyball star hadn’t been forced to withdraw from the competition Monday with a torn Achilles tendon. The announcement came as a surprise to the four remaining couples awaiting their

Beat the Experts: Who Will Leave DWTS Tonight?
It's time to Beat the Experts, and it doesn't look like you guys are doing too well. Last week both you, the readers, and Vegas oddsmaker Benjamin Eckstein said Cloris Leachman would be going home, and I said it would be Rocco DiSpirito, so it looks like the score stands as zero-all. Let's see how we all fare this week. I was quite surprised by tonight's episode—everyone really stepped it up this week. I felt like I was watching semiprofessional dancers. The Water Diva (aka Warren Sapp) and Brooke Bu

Dancing With Rocco, Week 2
Rocco DiSpirito has had a bumpy ride on Dancing With the Stars. His first performance earned him just 14 points, but then he and Karina Smirnoff shot up to 21 points for their sizzling mambo. But last night, at just 16 points, they walked away with the second-lowest score. (Feisty wisecracker Cloris Leachman was at the bottom with 15.) Carrie Ann Inaba pooh-poohed their lackluster rumba with a simple "Nice try." But DiSpirito isn't letting the judges' not-so-nice critiques get him down. Read on to f

Dancing With the Stars 7: The Most Fun Dances This Week
This week’s performances were almost all very, very good for the second week. The judges highly favored both Brooke Burke & Warren Sapp, but I have to admit that one of my favorites was not the same. Yes, I thought Warren Sapp was fantastic and the routine that he and Kym Johnson did with a “Matrix-esque” feel, was so much fun, But Brooke Burke’s dance just didn’t WOW me this week. (I’m not a huge fan of the paso doble…it’s just not my favorite.) Here&

DWTS Updates: Misty May-Treanor “Heard A Pop”
I’m beginning to think “Dancing with the Stars” might just be a little cursed. There’s been on-air fainting spells and an arm injury in previous seasons and this year: Kim Kardashian hurt her foot just before she was announced as a contestant, Karina Smirnoff sprained her ankle during a dress rehearsal before the season started, and Jeffrey Ross suffered a scratched cornea when his partner Edyta Sliwinska accidentally dealt him a glancing blow during rehearsal. Now Olympic Volleyball gold medalist,

DWTS' Karina Smirnoff: "Single Guys — Send in Your Resume!"
DWTS' Karina Smirnoff isn't shedding a tear after splitting with Mario Lopez. "I'm just concentrating on my career and getting my mind in the right place," she told Usmagazine.com at the L.A. premiere of Get Smart on Monday. Still, she added, "At the end of the day, I really want to find that certain person to spend the rest my life with. And I am totally open for that — so any single, good guys, send in your resume!" Smirnoff, 30, and Lopez, 34, called it quits earlier this month, shortly after

That’s It for “Team Kim”
Kim Kardashian turned on the waterworks after getting ejected from last night’s Dancing with the Stars, which also happened to be the five-year anniversary of her father’s death. Erg. Couldn’t they have given her a break (she’s gotten enough in life, why not one more?) and just sent Cloris Leachman home this week? I’m not a Kim fan, but it seemed kind of cruel. It’s no surprise that she took the news badly: “Once the cameras were off Kardashian rushed to the waitin

Kim: ‘I’d Totally Go Back’ to Dancing If Asked
With Misty May-Treanor injured, Dancing with the Stars is prematurely down one competitor. So could recently ousted Kim Kardashian be on her way back to the ballroom? “I would totally go back if they asked me,” the reality star said during an interview Tuesday on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “I’m not a performer and I would have loved that chance to at least have one breakthrough dance where the judges gave me a positive score and some positive feedback.” Kardash
