Martha Stewart: You may recall last May when I told you about the cute pair of cows that came to live on my farm, on loan from my friends, Judy and Michael Steinhardt. They are a small breed of cattle known as miniature Herefords. Dandy and Clover, as they came to be known, seemed very content in their paddock and had plenty of thick, healthy grass to eat whenever they got hungry. With the change of the seasons and the arrival of cold weather, it was time to return Dandy and Clover back to the Steinhardt's property, where the Herefords are provided with indoor shelter. I'm told that everyone there was amazed at how fat this pair got. Who knew that a diet of grass and dandelions could pack on the pounds! ◄ BackNext ► Picture 1 of 8: This is the day, last May, when the miniature Herefords were delivered to my farm.See All Photos in this Gallery Posted on November 20th, 2008 in My Pets | Permalink Post a comment Comments are moderated, and will not appear on this weblog until the author has approved them. It's official: Hip-hop has discovered Lykke Li. Toronto's Drake, a singer and MC for Lil Wayne's Young Money label-- and former "Degrassi: The Next Generation" cast member-- adds his lightly Auto-Tuned vocals and spry rhymes to this minimal, bass-heavy remix of Youth Novels' "Little Bit". And, like fellow Swedish pop songbird Robyn's appearance on the Fyre Department remix of Snoop Dogg's "Sexual Eruption", it works way better than you might think. Five shows I've been watching (and you should check out too) - VIDEOS
Filed under: Programming, OpEd, TV Squad Lists, Reality-FreeI think that in the most grossly general way, TV shows can be separated into three groups: the shows that get a ton of viewers and everyone knows about (American Idol, Two and a Half Men, Lost, etc), shows that don't get quite as many viewers but are well-known anyway (30 Rock, Burn Notice, Mad Men, The Shield), and a third category of shows that are more niche. They're probably on cable or public television and may even be on at odd times. They ha
