The original 1987 soundtrack to the film The Lost Boys has become a piece of 80s pop culture history, and it ushered in a new wave of rocking soundtracks that turned movie music into a genre and marketing niche all it's own. It is right up there with the soundtracks to Footloose, Top Gun, and Dirty Dancing. While it featured new wave bands of the era such as Echo and the Bunny Men and INXS, its centerpiece was, of course, The Lost Boys theme Cry Little Sister by Gerard McMann.

Dina says Hugh Hefner hasn't approached her daughter
Lindsay Lohan has no plans to pose for Playboy, despite recent reports suggesting otherwise, according to her mum, Dina.
Last month, men's magazine boss, Hugh Hefner, 81, was said to have asked the actress to recreate Marilyn Monroe's nude swimming scene from her unfinished film Something's Got To Give.
But Dina, 45, has denied the rumours.

When will it end? Now Hugh Hefner gets his own fragrance!
Coty Inc said on Friday that it struck a licensing deal with Playboy Enterprises Inc to develop a new Playboy men's fragrance line.
This right on the heels of announcements for fragrances for Ewan McGregor, Justin Timberlake, Halle Berry, Britney and who knows how many other celebrities.
The companies said the fragrance is scheduled to be distributed globally starting in the fall of 2008, with initial plans to launch in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia.
