Iron Man Knocked Unconscious While Moonlighting as Sherlock Holmes
A freak accident on the set of Sherlock Holmes nearly resulted in the second casting replacement for Iron Man 2. During shooting of the Guy Ritchie project, Robert Downey Jr. was accidentally popped in the face by a 350-pound stuntman during a fight sequence. He was knocked unconscious briefly, but is apparently now doing fine. In fact, the actor refused a trip to the hospital upon reawakening and even reportedly wanted to go right back to shooting. He ended up with six stitches in his mouth courtesy of the

And Now This Word from Tina Turner and Anne Hathaway…
TINA: Kanye thinks that little girl Beyoncé’s candle shines brighter than MINE?! After everything I’ve triumphed over in my life? And with THESE legs? Puh-lease. Boy had better watch it, ’cause I’m gonna whoop him good when I see him.
Anne: I wonder if this moment is even half as special for Tina as it is for me.
Tina: How dare he utter even our names in the same sentence? I’ve been strutting my stuff in stilettos since before that little wannabe was even bor
Oscar Going Commercial in 2008?
With the end of the year quickly approaching, it's time to start tallying the box office results and handing out the awards for the films of 2008. Critics and entertainment journalists are going to start spending a lot of time talking about whether or not it's been a good year for movies, both critically and commercially speaking.
But here's the thing that's made 2008 so interesting. So far, it's been a great year for commercial movies, critically speaking.

Roberty Downey Jr. has a glass jaw
Two separate accidents that occurred on the set of Guy Ritchie’s new Sherlock Holmes movie has caused the crew to joke that there is a curse surrounding this film.
One accident involved Jude Law who had to flee the set after a tanker exploded into a fireball.
Another involved Robert Downey Jr. who was knocked out with a left hook by 7ft Robert Maillet (the uber immortal in 300). The Sun reports he was “out cold” for six seconds and “drooling blood.”

Discuss: Should They Make an 'Incredible Hulk' Sequel?
Poor Hulk! Batman, Iron Man, even Wolverine get more sequel press than he does. But late last week, Tim Blake Nelson revealed to MTV that he had signed for Hulk sequels, with every intention of taking the villainous center stage as The Leader. But like the rest of us, he has no idea whether or not they'll come to be, or whether or not Edward Norton will return. "It's all good, and I really do hope [the sequel] happens, for all sorts of reasons. But yeah, we did, we had a great time on Hulk together. I'm eag
The 5 Greatest (and 5 Worst) Cartoons Based on Marvel Comics Characters
By Chris CumminsWhen Marvel Comics introduced the world to a new breed of superheroes in the 1960s, TV execs clamored to bring the adventures of these characters to the small screen. Since then, viewers have been constantly bombarded with the animated exploits of Spider-man, The Incredible Hulk, The Fantastic Four, The X-Men and the rest of Marvel's rogue gallery of heroes. Some of these shows helped raise awareness of the comics they were based upon, while others did no favors for the books that inspired t
New to Home Video: 'Wanted,' 'Prince Caspian,' 'Step Brothers,' and 'X-Files'
This week is also unusual in that it bucks the recent trend of movies that have been out for only three months before they wind up on home video. One of these flicks is six months old, and another one is about five months old. That doesn't mean we're seeing a reversal in that disturbing have-it-now trend, just that the studios wanted bigger fourth quarter pushes for movies from their second quarter.

Craig hopes ‘Quantum of Solace’ will be beat Kidman’s
James Bond star Daniel Craig hopes that ‘Quantum of Solace’ will be a bigger box office hit than Aussie actress Nicole Kidman’s ‘Australia’.
He appeared quite positive when asked whether his new flick would turn out to be better than Kidman’s ‘Australia’, “God yes. What kind of stupid question is that?” News.com.au quoted him as saying.
But he also said that he just could not wait to see the movie, as he was a “big Baz Luhrmann fan”.

There's enough tongue in them to make a director blush — and so much grabby-hands that the director, producer, and writer hit the ground in a dead faint. Or maybe it's just good suspense to deprive characters of some desperately needed mouth-on-mouth.
