007 Responds to IGN Readers
IGN was part of a small group of online sites invited to London last week to participate in a series of special events leading up to the Nov. 14 release of the next James Bond film, Quantum of Solace. The sites were there to represent the fans who submitted a pair of Bond questions each for star Daniel Craig and QoS director Marc Forster to answer.
We selected the best reader inquiries, which were then vetted by Columbia Pictures in order to make sure there were no duplicate questions. Upon flying to Lon

Exclusive: Forster and Craig Answer Your 007 Questions!
At first, Daniel Craig may not have been the most obvious choice to play the iconic figure of James Bond, however Craig renewed an excitement for the character with his portrayal of the sophisticated, dark-natured secret agent in Columbia Pictures' Casino Royale in 2006, while adding his own rugged and polished mannerisms to the role which made audiences love him as the sexy new 007 spy.
This November, the blonde-hair blue-eyed British actor returns as Bond in Quantum of Solace, this time with directo

Angelina Jolie and Daniel Craig in new posters
Two new exciting posters have just debuted on the internet. The first one is the most expected movie of the year James Bond’s Quantum of Solace. The film will open on November 14 th. The final poster is essentially the same image of Daniel Craig and Olga Kurylenko looking worse for wear as they walk through the desert with an exploding building in the background.
The other big poster is that of Changeling. The film’s trailer gave away a story that is essentially going to be heart breaking. The trailer
No more "Bond. James Bond"?
We've officially traded "Bond. James Bond" for Daniel Craig in tight Speedos. I think that was a fair bargain.
His name is Bond, James Bond: just don't expect him to introduce himself. For the first time in his 22 screen outings, Britain's best- known secret agent will not utter the words of introduction that have thrilled fans and appalled master criminals for 46 years.
Nor in his next adventure, Quantum of Solace, released in November, does 007 utter t
James Bond line axed
Movie bosses have decided to exclude the classic line 'Bond, James Bond' from 'Quantum of Solace'.The dialogue, spoken in all of the previous 22 James Bond films, has become synonymous with the secret agent franchise but director Marc Forster decided Daniel Craig - who plays the suave action hero - would not repeat the introduction for the latest instalment. The director revealed: "There was a 'Bond, James Bond' in the script. There were several places where we shot it as well, but it never worked as we hope

No “Bond, James Bond” in QUANTUM OF SOLACE
Only three 007 movies in the past have not featured the immortal line “Bond, James Bond” but the tradition ending new series which remember has already dropped Q and Miss. Moneypenny from it’s canon, will not feature the popular catchphrase in the upcoming QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
The Independent also say the similarly used catchphrase, “shaken, not stirred” won’t make it to the dance either, both were used in CASINO ROYALE as an introduction for Daniel Craig as Bond but aren&
The Paul Newman quote to cherish, the Paul Newman movies to remember
The end of the Paul Newman obituary in The New York Times delivered a tremendous emotional payoff.
Aljean Harmetz's salute to "one of the last of the great 20th-century movie stars" offered a fine summary of his life, films, passions and philanthropy. The obituary concluded with a quote to remember from the man himself:
"We are such spendthrifts with our lives," Newman once said. "The trick of living is to slip on and off the planet with the least fuss you can muster. I'm not ru
Newman’s Own: Paul Newman Charity
We’re all aware of what a terrific actor Paul Newman was. Handsome, free-spirited, and oh those blue eyes! He has been called one of the last great 20th century movie stars. But “Newman’s Own”, his company founded with his buddy A.E. Hotchner in 1982, selling everything from his famous salad dressing to popcorn and wine, became the genesis for his charitable work and a cornerstone for his amazing legacy. All its profits, of more than $250 million, have been donated to charity worldwide. Alot of the
Balloon Up Front
I've decided to double-post the Oscar Balloon -- it's on the main page (ten items down from the top) as well as on its own page. Somehow it got un-designed as a result of the server switchover so it has no tint or flair or anything -- it looks awful right now. (But it'll be fixed this weekend. I hope.)
I've tried to prune out the stragglers and the good-but-not-good-enoughers. Josh Brolin's lead performance in W. is the the latest surge in the Best Actor category. Unless reports come in to the co
Angelina's Beautiful Photo
Angelina Jolie has been out of the public eye since the birth of her twins, but is expected to make her first appearance in the US for the premiere of her latest film project, Changeling.Angie plays a mother in the movie, whose son has gone missing and is later returned to her, but she doesn't believe it's actually her boy. It's based on a true story. I think it's going to be an awesome movie, and because Jolie is now a mother (of soon to be seven?!) herself, she'

Daniel Craig's Casino Royale leap is James Bond's 'best stunt'
The acrobatics featured in the opening scenes of the 2006 film, with Bond chasing the bad guy into a building site and battling him 200 feet from the ground.
Casino Royale marked Craig's debut as 007 and the actor took part in the stunt himself. "It was important to me that I do as many of my own stunts as possible for authenticity," he has said. "I wanted to be seen jumping from crane to crane, physically exerting myself. I didn't get fit just to take my shirt off."
The scene topped a poll for the
Daniel Craig: I'm not Sean Connery
"If you're talking about the charm that came in with the early movies I'm not Sean Connery and I'm never going to copy anything anybody did. Give us some time and it won't just be about the physicality, but for the moment that's where we've gone and that's where it's exciting to go
