Changeling Trailer
I worship the ground Clint Eastwood walks on, but even if I didn’t, I would still have to admit that the trailer for Changeling looks freaking amazing. Add the fact that the film stars my pick for the sexiest woman on the planet (even if she does look a little haggard here), Angelina Jolie, and is based on a screenplay written by one of my favorite comicbook writers, J. Michael Straczynski, and what we have is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Changeling hits theatres October 31st, 2008.

Now that Angelina Jolie's Oscar for 'Girl, Interrupted' is getting lonely, the actress called upon Clint Eastwood -- who has succeeded in getting two lead actors two Oscars in recent years -- to help her snag a second one.
Review: 'A Girl Cut in Two'
Impeccably made and uncompromisingly adult, Claude Chabrol's " A Girl Cut in Two" is unquestionably the work of a master. As well it should be, given that the celebrated French filmmaker has produced more than 50 features in a full half-century of directing. If you don't believe all that experience can come in handy, this involving and intelligent film will change your mind.
The standard critical line on Chabrol is that he's a maestro of suspense, a kind of Gallic Alfred Hitchcock, but as he's gotten ol

Angelina Jolie in the ‘The Changeling’
We have all missed Angelina Jolie, who has been happily busy with her children, just being a Mom. She will soon be in a theater near you, as Clint Eastwood’s Changeling which stars Angelina and John Malkovich, opens October 31st.
The talk at Cannes was that Angelina’s performance was Oscar worthy, evidently it is a ‘dark’ provocative thriller based on actual events. In the film, Christine Collins’ (Jolie) prayers are met when her kidnapped son is returned is returned to her.
Can ‘Australia’ Finally Convince Audiences That Hugh Jackman Isn’t Gay?
20th Century Fox sure hopes so! In a story in yesterday's Times, overcompensating executives at the studio hilariously describe Viva Laughlin–toplining, three-time Tony Awards host Hugh Jackman as "rough-hewn" and a "young Clint Eastwood." "There are not many actors who have an ability to pick up a Nicole Kidman, throw her on the bed and ravish her with believability," says Australia director Baz Luhrmann. Additionally: "He is also excellent with a cattle whip."

Spike Lee Believes Eastwood Spat, Not “Meandering” Film, May Cost Him Oscar
Spike Lee, who is fluent in Whine, is now crying to King magazine that he fears his public war of words with Clint Eastwood may have cost him an Oscar nomination.
Spike should really have that foot checked out, because he seems to keep shooting it.
As you may remember, Spike threw the first punch when he criticized Clint for not having African-Americans in Flags of Our Fathers and Letters From Iwo Jima. Clint then sweetly took the high road by saying that Spike should “shut his face.” And S

Jolie plays Christine Collins, the mother of a kidnapped child in 1920’s Los Angeles. The movie is based on actual events and tells the story of the corruption in the Los Angeles Police Department and the treatment one mother was subjected to when she

As we've started to get our fair share of trailers for the coming prestige projects -- Frost/Nixon, The Soloist, Zack and Miri Make a Porno -- I was curious as to why we'd yet to get one for Clint Eastwood's period drama, Changeling, if it were set to open by the end of next month. Particularly after Kim's Cannes review, I wanted to get a proper glimpse beyond a brief clip...

Kick-Ass Movie To Live Up To Its Title [Kick-ass]
Disappointed that the movie version of Wanted didn't stay true to the ass-friendly supervillain-esque nature of the original comic book, and worried that a similar fate awaits Mark Millar's next movie? Don't be. As Millar's just finished telling his local newspaper, Kick-Ass is going to be the most violent super-hero movie ever rushed into production. Is that . . . er . . . good?
Talking to the Glasgow Herald, Millar eagerly explained just how kick ass Kick-Ass the movie will be:
We probably did th
