I Love You, Philip Morris, featuring Ewan McGregor and Jim Carrey sporting unusual hair choices, Will premiere at Sundance.
Sundance has announced its lineup of “world premiere” films that are not in the festival competition. So while the competition lineup features movie stars slumming in indies in order to win awards, the noncompetition films feature movie stars who like Utah in the winter, picking up swag, and making films that earn money, and maybe a better shot at an award than your ave

Mountain Men: The Sundance Film Festival … [Festivals]
Mountain Men: The Sundance Film Festival broke out its non-competition selections for 2009 this afternoon, a starrier, funkier twist on yesterday’s slate of barbershop docs and Pierce Brosnan weepies. At the top is Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor’s gay prison romance I Love You Philip Morris, which we’ve been anticipating since first spying Carrey’s frolicsome South Beach sojourn. Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke and Don Cheadle will be around for the cop drama Brooklyn’s Finest, while B
Sundance Goes All Starry
The death of indie film isn't exactly new, but the number of stars in this year's Sundance lineup really seems to drive the point home. They include Jim Carrey, Richard Gere, William Hurt, Robin Williams, Kim Basinger, Uma Thurman, and Kevin Spacey. "I think you should always get good actors in your movies," said the festival's programmer. "But to get financing of any kind these days, you need stars in your movie. It's sad, but it's true." Noteworthy films include I Love You Philip Morris, about a gay inmat
Movies with Jim Carrey, Richard Gere, Uma Thurman to screen at Sundance Film Festival
For years the Sundance Film Festival has featured a smattering of big-time stars in its smaller movies. But January's gathering might have more recognizable faces than most Sundance red carpets in recent memory -- Jim Carrey, Richard Gere, William Hurt, Robin Williams, Kim Basinger, Uma Thurman and Kevin Spacey, just to name a few.

Jim and Zooey Are Still Saying Yes
Yes Man is set to hit theaters in December, but Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel were still hard at work on the film in LA this past weekend. They looked like they were having a blast together on the set, and we imagine that there must be a lot of laughs with these two around. The teaser trailer looks fun so tell us if you're planning to check out the movie. It's on our short list since we're excited to see Jim's return to comedy paired with Zooey's quirky charm on the big screen.

Carrey Feared Romance Was Over When Mccarthy Disappeared
Jim Carrey feared his romance with Jenny McCarthy was over before it really started when the actress/model insisted on time alone to deal with her autistic son EVAN's health crisis.
