Christian Bale Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting His Mother and Sister?!
In his post on the The Dark Knight premiere, Tom Brook noted that Welsh-born star Christian Bale seems like "he doesn't suffer fools gladly." (Watch the interview - Bale had a total bitchface on the whole time.) Now comes news that Bale has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and his sister at London's Dorchester Hotel on Sunday.
Christian Bale Off The Hook
The Dark Knight star is off the hook. All charges have been dropped regarding that altercation between his mother and sister, which turns out was a screaming match because Bale wouldn’t loan them $200,000. The charges have been dropped due to insufficient evidence.

UK officials: Christian Bale will not face charges - AP
Batman star Christian Bale will not face charges relating to an alleged assault last month on his mother and sister, prosecutors said Thursday, suggesting their decision was based in part on the family members' wishes.
Britain's Crown Prosecution Service said there was insufficient evidence to afford a "realistic prospect of conviction," and ordered police not to take any further action.
The service said in a statement that while it "treats all incidents which take place in a domestic context seriously, i
Christian Bale off the hook in assault case - AP
Christian Bale won't be charged in an alleged assault on his mother and sister, in part because they didn't want to press the matter but also for lack of sufficient evidence, prosecutors said Thursday.
Britain's Crown Prosecution Service ordered police not to take any further action, saying there was insufficient evidence to make a conviction realistic.
The service said in a statement that it treats domestic incidents seriously, but feels it's important "that the views of complainants are also taken into

Batman's Christian Bale Goes Bad
Christian Bale, seen here hiding in the bushes from his mother and sister, plays Bruce Wayne, who is the Batman, has had an active week, but it's not all good.
The latest Batman movie, "Batman The Dark Knight", opened with a record breaking box office tally of about $158 million. This accomplishment, however, was marred by allegations that Batman put the beats on his mother and sister.
To the best of my knowledge Bale is not possessed of a violent personality nor has he had any run-ins with

"The Dark Knight" Crosses $500 million
No surprise here. The Dark Knight crossed the $500 million mark at the U.S. box office, and it’s only the second film in Hollywood history to do it.
The record-breaking film, starring Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, has taken just six weeks to reach the half-million figure - half the time it took Titanic, which remains the only film to have made more at the U.S. domestic box office.
After Sunday’s estimates, The Dark Knight has now made a total of $502.4 million. Again…I’m not
Kermit the Bale
A thorough researcher at ONTD makes a rock-solid case suggesting Christian Bale and Kermit dee Frog are, in fact, one and the same — a case supported by, and I’m estimating here, four billion side-by-side photographs. You MUST see the photographic evidence to believe it.
Now that I think about it, I’ve never seen them together in the same room. Very interesting, indeed…
We need to further investigate to determine if Christian frequently sings “The Rainbow Connection”

Terminator Salvation - New HD Trailer
Just caught this new Terminator movie trailer while watching the new Batman Dark Knight flick this past week. And yes, that’s Christian Bale playing the starring role as John Connor, the predestined savior of mankind set to the backdrop James Cameron’s post apocalyptic vision.
Which brings up the next great question, how can one man be so lucky to be both Batman and John Connor? Do you think him and Shia LaBeouf have secret meetings deciding which of them will play a prominent role in some of
The Dark Knight Sequel Waiting on Nolan's Commitment
Although this isn't a big update, the Hollywood Reporter has a great article titled Anatomy of a Hit: 'The Dark Knight' that's worth reading if you're interested in some in-depth interpretation on The Dark Knight and its success.

Fake Batman poster
Dear BATMAN fans: please try to exercise a bit of common sense when it comes to news and rumors about the next movie.
Sure, it's fun to guess about the potential, and who Christian Bale might battle should he don the cowl again. But until something official is actually announced from the studio or the talent involved about the start of a next (still-theoretical) Batfilm, it's safe to assume that any and all casting, plot and/or imagery is either speculation, fan fabrication, or 100% complete bullshit.
Is Hollywood Lacking In "Manly" Men? [Gender Benders]
Are there any tough guys left in America? Over on Entertainment Weekly's PopWatch Blog, Mandi Bierly links to a piece in Variety written by Anne Thompson, in which Thompson asks, "Where have the manly movie stars gone?" She claims the Hollywood machine has churned out nothing but boy-men. Johnny Depp? "Fey." Brendan Fraser? "Goofy." Keanu Reeves and Tom Cruise? Just not macho enough! When a studio wants a real manly type, they turn to the UK, Australia or Europe: Christian Bale, Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman
