Boy George Releases Video For Pro-Obama Song Yes We Can
Um…Thoughts?
Boy George Is Denied Visa + Pens Obama Song
How excited we were when the New York Post reported that our good friend Boy George would be returning to New York and performing in a series of concerts over the summer. You may remember George's unceremonious exit from New York after having to perform five days of community service sweeping the park for the Department of Sanitation in 2006. In a gesture of appreciation to the Sanitation Dept., the now clean and sober George had agreed to stop at the DSNY's Family Day on Aug. 17 at Floyd Bennett Field in B

Here is the video for Boy George’s Obama-inspired song called “Yes We Can”.
Just What Obama Needs: A Weird Boy George Video
Earlier in the summer, Boy George released a song "for" Obama called "Yes, We Can."
Nobody really noticed, but now there's an official video for the song, which is so weird and animated and nonsensical. It's mostly Boy George Boy George Boy George, with cameos by David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust, Divine, a dancing Amy Winehouse, and I think the guy from the Insane Clown Posse?

Also, Boy George inexplicably uses weird caricatures of David Bowie and Amy Winehouse. The song itself sounds like that “Feel the Love Generation” song we always hear at bars

"American Idol" Hopefuls To Be Judged By Former Dave Stewart Collaborator [Revolving Chairs]
Alas, I'm not talking about Annie Lennox. In an effort to bring what a Fox exec calls more "girl power" to the show, the judges' table for the next season of American Idol will now have a Coke cup for songwriter Kara DioGuardi, who's shared writing credits on songs including Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man" and Kelly Clarkson's "Walk Away" and collaborated with Stewart on the pseudo-retro project Platinum Weird. DioGuardi, who Idol head honcho Simon Fuller called "a smart, sassy lady," is being bil
