'Tropic Thunder' brings issues about cinema and race back to the fore
Robert Downey Jr. plays Kirk Lazarus who plays a Black vietnam soldier in the new, Ben Stiller Film "Tropic Thunder". The movie sets a satirical tone towards race relations in hollywood again. The movie has opened to a nice 26 million dollars, over the weekend. It was even able to knock the Dark Knight off the spot for no.1 (although Dark Knight is No. 2, and with 471 million under its utiltiy belt, I might add ). It looks like controversy sells.
