Forks is the setting of the "Twilight" books, which chronicle the romance between a 17-year-old who moves to the town and falls for Edward Cullen, a vampire.

According to an article in The Canberra Times, Harry Potter was voted once again as the number one favorite on the Angus & Robertson Top 100 list for the third year in a row. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer came in second place. Australian author Matthew Reilly was the most popular author since five of his books made the list. Summit Entertainment offered film director Chris Weitz an opportunity to direct the “Twilight” sequel.
