Brooke Burke: HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Today) 11/26/08 - It could have been any one of the three contenders still in the game, all based on three very different reasons, but Brooke Burke and Derek Hough won in the end based on good old fashioned hark work, dedication, grace, sex appeal, and technically great dancing. Season seven’s finale Tuesday, Nov. 25, ended with a bang after the duo was declared victorious and the whole cast swept them away into a cloud of confetti and lights. Burke is the mother of four children and one of them is an infant. It’s no surprise that she must be exhausted in every way now that the competition is over. “It was really trying physically, emotionally, you name it,” Burke told People. “I think the emotional release was surreal. While we were standing up there, I said to Derek, -I can’t feel my feet!’” Burke’s handsome fiancé David Charvet looked so proud and emotional after the win was announced. He just kept applauding along with their two adorable daughters. “It’s almost like you’re out there with her. I had so much faith in her, but I didn’t think that she could achieve what she ended up achieving this year,” Charvet said. “She bluffed me completely and she continues to leave me speechless.” Derek’s sister Julianne Hough was also there to congratulate her brother on his first place win as well as his girlfriend Shannon Elizabeth. In last night's thrilling conclusion to Dancing with the Stars season 7, host and model Brooke Burke and her partner Derek Hough swept through their competition to take home the mirror ball trophy. My reaction when she won was that she really worked hard all season and deserved to win.

Misty down! What the Harding is going on with the "Dancing With the Stars" cast?
Seriously, who's killing the great dancers of ABC? Or getting all Nomi Malone on the competition? It's being reported that the frighteningly sturdy Misty May-Treanor has been forced to drop out of the competition due to a "popped" Achilles heel. (Um ... eeew.) And it seems that pixiesh pro Derek Hough (who partners with Brooke Burke, another statuesque brunette favored to win the season) blacked out after slamming his precociously large head into the floor or something. I'm sorry, but there

Dancing With the Stars 7: As Cold as Siberia…?
OK, I’m guilty of saying negative things about Kim Kardashian’s level of passion in her dance moves, but I wasn’t the one that did the most dissing this week! The judges were downright mean to her. The worst was Bruno Tonioli. He told her that her dancing was: …as cold and as distant as Siberia. Now THAT’S harsh! I am not surprised that she went home this week, I was surprised that Ted McGinley went home before her. But that’s no reason to be cruel. She was trying to

Dancing With the Stars 7: The Most Fun Dances This Week
This week’s performances were almost all very, very good for the second week. The judges highly favored both Brooke Burke & Warren Sapp, but I have to admit that one of my favorites was not the same. Yes, I thought Warren Sapp was fantastic and the routine that he and Kym Johnson did with a “Matrix-esque” feel, was so much fun, But Brooke Burke’s dance just didn’t WOW me this week. (I’m not a huge fan of the paso doble…it’s just not my favorite.) Here&
