"30" Rock Renewed!
Good news fans of smartly written comedy that we all assumed would be canceled a long time ago -- we were wrong! Halfway through its third season, the ingenius "30 Rock" has been picked up for fourth year. You know what that means, more words of wisdom from Kenneth! I guess if you win lots of awards -- Emmy's! Peabody's! Golden Globes! -- dismal ratings are irrelevant. And thank goodness for that because I have been cracking up at and quoting the moment below since I saw it last week.

Scott Rudin takes his name off ‘The Reader,’ walks away
UPDATE (9:58 p.m.): Thanks to one of our readers for pointing out that “The Reader” has been removed from The Weinstein Company’s official site.  Could it mean that Weinstein will fold after all?  Could the pain of getting a publicity team in place, dealing with Rudin’s all-in public play and general bad buzz make TWC see the light and move the film to 2009?  We’ll see… EARLIER: I love Scott Rudin.  All along, throughout this whole nasty affair, I have hoped he would
