Body of Lies Review
Leonardo DiCaprio stands out in Ridley Scott's intense 'Body of Lies'
Movie Review: Body of Lies
CIA spy Roger Ferris is sent to Jordan to find a Middle Eastern terrorist in Body of Lies. Smart but spent, Body of Lies is an American stereotype done up nice.
Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio), a CIA agent in Iraq, is reassigned to Jordan to find Al-Saleem (Alon Abutbul), a terrorist threatening to commit attacks all over Europe. Contrary to and against the warning of his successors, Ferris decides to include the Head of Jordanian General Intelligence Department, the well dressed and brilliant Hani Sal

Body of Lies: Crank call
If Ridley Scott's Body of Lies strikes out at multiplexes, as it might despite the star power of Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe, somebody should call up the studio and tell it that the cellphone is to blame.

Just a Minute With: Leonardo DiCaprio and "Body of Lies"
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Born of Hollywood, acting as a teenager, Oscar-nominated by age 19, Leonardo DiCaprio is a product of the film studio's star-making machine.
He made young women swoon in the biggest box office hit of all-time, 1997's "Titanic," but his youthful looks meant the transition to strong, leading man roles would be difficult. Yet, as he left his 20s and entered his 30s, he earned Oscar nominations for playing Howard Hughes in 2004's "The Aviator" and two years later, a gem smuggler
Leonardo DiCaprio's Sinking Ship 'Body of Lies' Readies the Lifeboats [Imminent Doom]
Tracking on Body of Liesisn't dazzling anyone today at Warner Bros., which has spent the last two months trying to push Ridley Scott's $100 million Leonardo DiCaprio/Russell Crowe war-on-terror thriller onto the top of this weekend's congested slate of new releases. Most forecasts place its opening gross around $17 million — likely enough to dispatch mildly aromatic new competition like Quarantine, City of Ember and The Express, but not nearly enough to guarantee a first-place finish ahead of Beverly

The war on terror spy thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe (who gained 50 pounds for the role) and directed by Ridley Scott came in #3. "Maybe it should be retitled Body Bags?" said a competitor.

Movie Review - 'Body of Lies'
Body of Lies. Ironically, in the first film, the spying is to know too much, while in Body of Lies, too little is known in spite of it.
The film is based on a novel by
David Ignatius
- adapted for the screen by The Departed screenwriter
William
Monahan - about a search for a high-ranking terrorist that involves
the incompatible methods of the intelligence communities of the United States
and Jordan.
Ferris is on the ground doing the dirty work of Ed

Review: ‘Body of Lies’ flat
Three years after his Crusades epic “Kingdom of Heaven,” director Ridley Scott returns to the shifting sands of the Middle East with “Body of Lies.” Unfortunately, despite the star power of Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe, the movie lags.

Review Roundup: BODY OF LIES, EXPRESS, QUARANTINE
This week, the studios have once again carefully programmed and counter-programmed with a movie for just about every taste: To start, a Ridley Scott thriller with major stars, a sports biopic and a freaky horror remake.
We had planned to round up more movies from last week’s avalanche, but nah. What’d we miss, An American Carol? Please. Let’s move on for this week.

Movie Review: Body of Lies (2008)
Just to get it out of the way, the new Leonardo DiCaprio-Russell Crowe-Kirk Cameron-Alan Thicke quasi-political thriller Body of Lies is one of the more disappointing movies of the year...
Is it a bad movie? Not at all, and I’d recommend it (just barely) simply for the star power. But you expect, and should expect more than you get considering the top-shelf talent involved. It marks the 4th collaboration between director Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe yet it’s the 3rd best as Gladiator and American Ga
Body of Lies Meets Chinese Democracy
Axl Rose, front man for Guns N' Roses, has been working on Chinese Democracy for over a decade. Numerous delays have plagued the album, leaving fans and critics speculating that it may never be released.
Signaling a possible light at the end of the tunnel, the single "If the World" is included in Body of Lies -- it plays over the final credits. The news might just make it worth a trip to the theater this weekend for those fans growing weary of Appetite for Destruction.

Dr. Venkman Reviews: Body of Lies
Body of Lies was a great movie for that type of international terrorist action drama genre. If you like those kinds of films then ‘Body of Lies’ is your wet dream. For the most part I like these kinds of movies and I was really looking forward to seeing this film. I find these kinds of films interesting to watch but at the same time it isn’t a fun watch. You are forced to think in these types of movies so if your not into thinking while watching a film Body of Lies may not be for you.

DiCaprio reins in politics to tackle a titanic issue
Leonardo DiCaprio has come a long way from his teeny-bopper heartthrob days. Nearly 11 years after starring in Titanic - not just the biggest movie of all time, but the dreamiest date movie as well - he has earned respect in a string of ultra-challenging, primarily guy films such as Gangs of New York, The Aviator, Blood Diamond, The Departed and the new Body of Lies, which opens today. DiCaprio's Roger Ferris in Body of Lies is the (marginally) most ethical undercover agent in an utterly amoral cat-and-mous

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Body of Lies," a terrorism thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe, will likely take the No. 1 spot at the weekend box office in North America, ending a run of bad luck for action movies dealing with the Iraq war.

But the first trailer was just above average, not great.
It was what it needed to be for a movie like this. The second trailer, while it
does develop the story a little more, is not very inspiring. Of course, I felt
