Hugh Jackman & Nicole Kidman @ ‘Australia’ New York Premiere
Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman along with their spouses Deborah Lee-Furness and Keith Urban were in New York last night for the premiere of ‘Australia’.
When I first glimpsed at what Blake Lively was wearing I thought she was bearing her stomach and I thought New York has got to be cold that’s an odd choice. Ha ha it’s a flesh coloured belt. Don’t worry, I’m making the eye appointment today, lol.
Naomi Watts looks due like yesterday. She’s so tiny but her baby

The couple attended the glamorous red carpet event with their respective spouses - a very proud looking Keith Urban and Hugh’s wife Deborra-Lee Furness - as well as the film’s director Baz Luhrmann.
Also in attendance were Nicole’s good friend, the very pregnant Naomi Watts, Kelsey Grammer, Helena Christensen, Famke Janssen and Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively - who’s cinch belt made her look like she was wearing a tacky crop top from a distance.

Hugh Jackman On Bringing ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ Back For A Sequel… In Japan
Fresh off being named “Sexiest Man Alive” by People Magazine, Hugh Jackman has a lot to be thankful for these days. His epic Baz Luhrmann film “Australia” hits theaters today, and he’s returning to the big screen as one of comics’ most popular superheroes, Wolverine, in next year’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.”
In the following video, Jackman explains to MTV that there are plenty of surprises left for the “Wolverine” audience, and not only tel

Be Still My Heart -- New 'Australia' Trailer!
The release date of Australia is a mere month away, yet there's been little in the way of promotion for it. A few posters, a new release date, a few interviews with Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman -- that's it. While this could spell a lack of confidence, I think it's largely due to the fact that Baz Luhrmann was still tinkering with the film as of August.
But at last, there is a new trailer, courtesy of MSN, but sans embed code. It's an odd trailer. It starts off in a style that's quite contemporary, both
‘Sexiest Man Alive’ Hugh Jackman Laughs Off Gay Rumors
Normally I’m not one to ask actors about their sexuality but come on, we’ve all heard the Hugh Jackman rumors, right? And when he talked to People magazine about said rumors, well it seemed like fair game.
So credit Mr. Jackman as he stood his ground at the uncomfortable question and addressed the rumors with a charm that befits the Sexiest Man Alive. Watch below as the “Australia” star explains just how straight he is. And check out our full Hugh Jackman (and Nicole Kidman) interv

It’s full of magic, passion, music and breathtaking aerial shots. Australia is like the restoration of a long-lost cinematic art. It's pure entertainment with a human element to it that’s just emotional enough. With Australia, director Baz Luhrmann has brought us the most sweeping, grandiose, and visually stunning epic film of the year.

Review: 'Australia' weighed down by artifice
When the subject of Australia is as ambitious as the character of an entire country, and the filmmaker is as effusive as Down Under's native son Baz Luhrmann, a ballsy Aussie cinematic razzle-Bazzle is to be expected. To be longed for, actually.
'Australia web reviews
After a seven-year absence from the big screen, Baz Luhrmann returns with "Australia," an epic journey about an English aristocrat who teams up with a stockman to drive her cattle across Australia’s most unforgiving land, only to face the Japanese bombing of the city of Darwin. Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman star. Here's what online critics have to say about the film:
• Cinematical's Jeffrey M. Anderson: "It reeks of Michael Bay's 'Pearl Harbor.'"
• Katey Rich at Cinema Blend: "A gorgeou
Trailer Cache: Australia
The new trailer for Baz Luhrmann's Austrailia has us a little dumbfounded. The film, Mr. Luhrmann's first since striking the fancy of Oscar voters seven years ago with his multiple nominated revisionist musical Moulin Rouge!, features so many references to other movies that it's actually hard to keep up.
Mostly Australia culls from African Queen; Hugh Jackman actually appears to be wearing Humprhey Bogart's wardrobe from the John Huston film, while Nicole Kidman seems to be reading Katherine Hepburn's di

New 'Australia' Trailer: A Romantic Adventure with Wolverine and The Others
If Crocodile Dundee II were a big-budget Lifetime Original Movie based loosely on Pearl Harbor, this is what it would look like. Except this is directed by Moulin Rouge's Baz Luhrmann, stars Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, and will surely be nominated for several Oscars, whereas the Lifetime version would be called Danielle Steel's Down Under, and would be watched by only sad housewives. It looks pretty good if you're into that whole sweeping, epic romance sort of thing (no one is judging you):
