Captain America plot details
Since we heard that The First Avenger: Captain America would be set in World War II, we haven't heard much at all. All we've had has been casting rumours. Now a synopsis of the plot has been revealed. It sounds like a potted history of Captain America, so maybe the plan is to set him up as The Avengers leader. The First Avenger: Captain America is to be released in May 2011, just a couple of months before The Avengers film. And we already know that it will be set during Wor

'Dancing' pro says Susan Lucci has a 'good chance'
Tony Dovolani completely believes that he and partner Susan Lucci can win the disco ball trophy on Dancing With the Stars, which tonight will feature 10 stars tackling the jive or the Viennese waltz . "I feel like, because of what she brings to the table, because of what she brings to the camera, I really do believe she has a really good chance of winning. I honestly think she’s that talented," he told Lifeline Live in a press conference call on Friday. She has no dancing experience, but 14 y

'Dancing' partners still together
Earlier this week, pro dancer Tony Dovolani, who is partnered with Susan Lucci on Dancing With The Stars, was asked if there was any hooking up going on among the cast this season. "Previous seasons we had that, but not this time," he said. Maybe he was referring to last season's pro Derek Hough and his actress partner Shannon Elizabeth. The two had great chemistry, as they say. Now, it turns out they're living together. “Mark and I have an apartment, and I’m supposed to be living there,

Exclusive Interview: Tony Dovolani of 'Dancing with the Stars'
Arguably, the best part of watching Dancing with the Stars is the cadre of professional dancers who are tasked to teach celebrities who have never danced before to compete in a televised ballroom competition. Over the seven seasons of the show's existence, we've gotten to know these dancing pros and have watched them in awe as they flawlessly perform week after week. They are class acts, these dancers, for their dedication to the show, to their craft and to us, their fans. One of these special dancers

9/30 Dancing With The Stars Elimination Shocker And Absurd Result
The show was entertaining, but watching it is better than reading it about it, so we won’t waste much time. Couples that got through: Toni & Alec Rocco and Karina Cody & Julianne Brooke & Derek Susan & Tony Warren and Kym Maurice and Cheryl Lance & Lacey Misty & Maks Cloris & Corky Eliminated Kim and Mark What can we say. Cloris makes it again. We [...]

10/6 Dancing in a Bar Review and Recap, Analysis and Sexual Innuendo
Misty May-Treanor is done. She sprained her ankle in practice. She wouldn’t win, so it was a good time to get out. She ruptured her Achilles tendon. So, that is a pretty major injury. And what is interesting about it is that she is the most athletic of anyone here. We hope it wont hurt Misty in volleyball. We know she is competitive, but her age is catching up. Susan & Tony (7/10) Susan looks so amateurish. Her movements are like she is dancing karaoke. She looks like someone learning h

Dancing With the Stars 7: As Cold as Siberia…?
OK, I’m guilty of saying negative things about Kim Kardashian’s level of passion in her dance moves, but I wasn’t the one that did the most dissing this week! The judges were downright mean to her. The worst was Bruno Tonioli. He told her that her dancing was: …as cold and as distant as Siberia. Now THAT’S harsh! I am not surprised that she went home this week, I was surprised that Ted McGinley went home before her. But that’s no reason to be cruel. She was trying to

Susan Lucci's Big Time Brawl with Kim Kardashian?
"Dancing with the Stars"' Tony Dovolani is bandaged, bruised and bleeding on the set of "All My Children"! "The Insider" was exclusively on the set of the hit soap opera when Susan Lucci got her dance partner into a little more trouble than he bargained for. Did Susan get to into character as infamous 'Erica Kane' and go crazy on her dance partner? Did crazed fans decide that they had seen enough of Tony's rumba? Or did the twosome have a rumble with Kim Kardashian and Mark Ballas, who were in the same

Rocco & Karina Spared Dancing Elimination
While her fellow Dancing with the Stars contestants were sad to see an injured Misty May-Treanor leave the competition, one couple got an unexpected reprieve because of it. On Tuesday’s Results show, it was revealed that Rocco DiSpirito and his partner Karina Smirnoff would have been voted off the show if the volleyball star hadn’t been forced to withdraw from the competition Monday with a torn Achilles tendon. The announcement came as a surprise to the four remaining couples awaiting their

Dancing With the Stars 7: Injuries Galore This Week!
This was another surprising week on Dancing With the Stars. We found out that there were three injuries during rehearsals this week. Derek Hough fell and knocked himself out cold when he hit his head on the floor. Susan Lucci twisted her ankle, but taped it up and performed a jive anyway. And tragically, Olympic athlete Misty May-Treanor tore her achilles tendon!!! YIKES!! That’s one of the most painful leg injuries possible! Sadly, she had to bow out of the competition because she had to have surg

10/7 Dancing with the Stars Results. Who Went Home?
No one goes home tonight, because of the forced departure of Misty May-Treanor due to her injury, but the judges scores Will be additive next week, so the low couple at the bottom of the totem pole Will have ground to make up in the votes next week. It comes down to who “WOULD” have been going home rather than who Will… for now. In no particular order, they call out the names, only saying that the last couple has the lowest point total. 1. Brooke & Derek 2. Cloris and Corky (Please!)

Dancing With The Stars: Week 3
Filed under: Celebrities, Dancing With The Stars, Episode Reviews, Episode Recaps (S07E06) Week three did not get off to a great start down at Dancing With The Stars HQ. The ten performances we were expecting had been reduced to nine. It seems that while training on Friday night, Misty May-Treanor suffered an injury that would keep her from performing as part of the top ten. I could go into detail about that right here, above the jump, but I've chosen to be as annoying as the producers of the show, and d

Dancing With the Stars 7: The Most Fun Dances This Week
This week’s performances were almost all very, very good for the second week. The judges highly favored both Brooke Burke & Warren Sapp, but I have to admit that one of my favorites was not the same. Yes, I thought Warren Sapp was fantastic and the routine that he and Kym Johnson did with a “Matrix-esque” feel, was so much fun, But Brooke Burke’s dance just didn’t WOW me this week. (I’m not a huge fan of the paso doble…it’s just not my favorite.) Here&

Dancing with the Stars Power Rankings, Week Two
Kim Kardashian has been eliminated, leaving Dancing with the Stars with a much smaller average bust size.Other than that, where do the couples stand after two weeks? Let's take a look the second edition of our season seven power rankings...1. Brooke Burke and Derek Hough: Forget their three consecutive top scores; popularity will truly soar as Brooke Burke nude pic buzz escalates.2. Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson: Rumors say Sapp is acting like a diva backstage; he's performing like a champion on stage!3. Cody
