Alicia Keys closed the 2008 Bermuda Music Festival on Saturday where she was reportedly paid $750,000. Alicia’s new movie The Secret Life of Bees hits theaters October 17th. Common read and performed at The New York Times’ 4th Annual Great Children’s Read at Columbia University. John Legend attended the grand opening of Tyler Perry’s new TV and movie studio, Tyler Perry Studios, in Atlanta. Mr. X to the Z, Xzibit, performed for fans Down Under in Sydney, Australia.

The fan response to the new Bond theme “Another Way to Die” hasn’t been all that positive, and unfortunately the music video for the Quantum of Solace song isn’t much better. I think most of you would agree the theme could’ve used Amy Winehouse, cracked out or not. Still, at least there’s one benefit to the change: Alicia Keys sure is hot.
