‘The Soloist’ poster …
Here is the poster for the upcoming Robert Downey, Jr., Jamie Foxx movie ‘The Soloist’. So far this is the only movie that has gained all of the ‘Oscar’ talk, and since they are making a big deal out of..it will probably happen.
Ahh, I remember back when Jamie Foxx was doing tasteful comedies like ‘Sprung’, and ‘Booty Call’, now he is making millions and winning Oscars!

That’s It, Who Wants To Shave Robert Downey JR’s Mustache Off?
I first whined (pouted) about Robert Downey Jr.#8217;s mustache last month. I really don’t like it. It reminded me of his Chaplin character. Some of my friends commented that it actually reminded them of Sonny Bono. :(
Looking at the new pictures, I’m this close to calling a shrink to cure my early signs of depression. Mustache, spiky hair??? Ahh, that’s too much to take.

If You Run Out of Oscars, It's Because 'The Soloist' Has Them All
Here's the trailer for The Soloist the semi-real inspirational story of reporter Robert Downey Jr. finding redemption by helping schizophrenic hobo Jamie Foxx play the cello. The only way this thing could be better Oscar bait is if they painted it gold, put it in a wig and makeup, and had it give some coquettish glances to the Oscar statues. "Hey, booooooys!"

Robert Downey Jr. Cracks Open Some Sake For 'Iron Man'
Taking his wildly successful action movie Iron Man overseas to Japan, Robert Downey Jr.

I was going to start making fun of the guy in the power suit with

Alfre Woodard: 'Have acting; will travel'
Alfre Woodard seems downright giddy. Perhaps it's the white baby-doll dress on this hot summer day, or the fact that she has a new movie (Tyler Perry's "The Family That Preys," with Kathy Bates) and TV series ("My Own Worst Enemy," with Christian Slater) premiering back to back. Or perhaps she's still basking in the glow of the Democratic National Convention.

Heath Ledger’s ‘Dark’ performance inches closer to infamy
Saying that Heath Ledger gave an astonishing performance in “The Dark Knight” is bordering on the cliche these days. There is little doubt the late actor — whether he had tragically passed in January or not — offered the most memorable portrayal of the year.
And today I found this bit of news from across the pound, and the inevitable crystallizes further. It seems an up-and-coming painter has created a large oil paint rendering of the actor’s performance in one of the film&

But now, has one of his main players revealed some of the biggest casting news of the decade?

‘High School,’ talking dogs bring family fun
This season’s family films have their share of talking animals, including a TV dog (John Travolta), a lion (Ben Stiller) who gets stuck in Africa and even a cynical bunny (Steve Buscemi).
