The nominations for the 2009 Independent Spirit Awards were announced yesterday and one of the big winners was Oscar favorite RACHEL GETTING MARRIED. The Anne Hathaway film scored six nominations tying it with BALLAST and FROZEN RIVER for the most nominations.
