The 'Hoff' returns in Knight Rider... but a new hero is in the driving seat
David Hasselhoff has returned in a remake of Knight Rider - but this time someone else gets the fast car. The former Baywatch star stood by the side of his successor, Justin Branning, who plays the estranged son of Michael Knight, Mike Traceur, in the new show, and handed over the reins to KITT. In the first episode, which premiered in the US last night, Traceur came face to face with his father when he turned up unannounced at his mother's funeral.

"Knight Rider" and "Tales of the Hoff"
NBC is bringing back "Knight Rider," tapping Doug Liman to produce a "Transformers"-inspired reworking of the 1980s hit action-drama series about a man and his indestructible supercar.  Peacock is readying a two-hour backdoor pilot for the project, with tentative plans to air it as a telepic later this season. Liman is open to the idea of directing, assuming his feature sked allows. If the telepic clicks, a new-model "Knight Rider" could be on the air as early as next fall. For full story click here Al

James Blunt 'forces' Noel Gallagher to move home
Apparently Oasis’ Noel Gallagher is selling his Ibiza holiday home – because he can’t stand to live near James Blunt, who owns a nearby pad, anymore. According to The Sun’s Bizarre column, Gallagher has put the £5.5million villa on the market, saying that he can’t stand living there in the knowledge that Blunt is nearby making terrible music. The newspaper quotes an anonymous source as saying: “Noel has been going to Ibiza every summer for years. But he’s fed up of hearing James Blunt b

The Hoff wants elephant tusk back from ex-wife
BAYWATCH star David Hasselhoff is reclaiming a bizarre list of items from his ex-wife – including an ivory tusk and an antique barber’s chair. Hoff, 55, has won a court order allowing him back into the family home in LA to collect possessions from actress Pamela Bach, 44. The list also includes a statue of a dolphin, a model elephant, baseball memorabilia – and a “French maid”. The couple have spent months warring over finances and their two teenage daughters. Hasselhoff was ordere

The Hoff Back to the Hosp
TMZ has learned David Hasselhoff checked himself into UCLA Medical Center this weekend, but the buzz that it's for rehab is bogus. We're told Hoff had something removed from above his eye last week. It was stitched up but somehow the wound reopened on Saturday and it was bleeding like a mutha. Hoff's assistant became concerned and took him to UCLA. It's bad enough that he'll probably be there until tomorrow. Hey, UCLA docs -- don't peek at the Hoff's chart, or else!

The Hoff keeps his name in divorce
As part of his divorce settlement with ex Pamela Bach, David Hasselhoff will maintain possession of his biggest asset -- his name. Specifically listed in the divorce settlement filed today, Hasselhoff keeps the rights to the name "Hoff" and the catchphrase, "Don't Hassle the Hoff" in countries throughout the world. Bach and Hasselhoff will split their Encino, Calif. home 50/50. Bach also gets two cars (a 2006 Mercedes and a 1999 Lincoln Navigator), half of their joint checking account and the balance

Noel Gallagher turned away from Elton John and Prince parties
There was no Definitely Maybe for Noel Gallagher when it came to trying to blag an invite. The Oasis star was with scruffy hangers-on who tried to get into Elton's amazing bash and Prince's party. Says our source: "Noel was texting the organisers trying to get in but they weren't having any of it. In the end, they all sloped off looking dejected."

Noel Gallagher buys guns in LA to pursue shooting hobby
Their bouts of brotherly fisticuffs are legendary. But hard-knock Liam Gallagher had better think twice before squaring up to Noel in future - now that his big brother is armed and dangerous... We can sensationally reveal that 40-year-old Noel - supposedly one of the last true rock 'n' rollers - has been stocking up on guns in LA so that he can follow his country pursuits as a tweed-wearing toff. Noel, who is in LA recording the next Oasis album, is so excited about his new past-time, he has been text

Oasis member quits
Oasis drummer Zak Starkey is unlikely to perform with the band again after falling out with singer/guitarist Noel Gallagher. According to The Sun today (May 12), Starkey is highly unlikely to play with the band on any forthcoming live dates, and his involvement in their forthcoming new album, recently completed, will be his last with Oasis. The newspaper quotes a source close to the band as saying: "There have been arguments with Noel Gallagher and general disagreements." No official announcement a

Jugs of Glory
Sharon Osbourne, Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff were left agog during the latest round of America's Got Talent auditions after a hopeful smashed beer cans with her 40lb breasts. Busty Heart, as she is know, crushed nine beer cans simultaneously with her right breast in a rather peculiar attempt to impress the judges. The former exotic dancer stuck pictures of Morgan and Hasselhoff's faces to the cans, which ended up flattened on the table.

Oasis pair in a Jam with Paul
NOW that’s a supergroup I’d like to see in action. Lords Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, GEM ARCHER and STEVE CRADOCK belting it out in a tiny club would be awesome. This exclusive snap was taken shortly after the four rock titans came together to record a track. The song, Echoes Round The Sun, was the result of a boozy recording session between the Oasis duo, The Jam legend and Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Cradock – and Noel’s still clutching his can of beer. It will be out as a double Asi
