“Sister Act” already seeing success.
London theatergoers are ready to help out a sister. While West End productions traditionally do not publish numbers, reps for the upcoming “Sister Act” have announced that the show wrapped more than £1 million ($1.48 million) during its first week on sale. The show, which is co-produced by Whoopi Goldberg and adapted from the film, “Sister Act” starts performances at the London Palladium May 7th and officially opens June 2nd.
