Rob Zombie, director of the new “H2″ Halloween sequel, gave a first look preview of the new Michael Myers mask.
He also says that Michael Myers will be even more evil than before. Michael will be more intense, bigger, meaner, and nastier. Tyler Mane is set to reprise his role as Michael.

Ezra has joined the cast of H2 as Ned Atkins - beer delivery man for The Rabbit In Red Club. Unfortunately Ezra's scene were cut from Halloween, so he had to come back and rock it again.

Halloween 2 Takes Familiar Spot
Halloween in October? Not quite. As we speculated here , Dimension Films has indeed shown that familiarity works best and Rob Zombie's H2 ( Halloween 2 ) is now slated for release August 28th. Originally, Zombie had alluded to an October debut. But, late August is the same time frame Halloween bowed in 2007 and took the #1 spot at the box office. 'Halloween 2' gets release date
The folks over at ShockTillYouDrop can confirm that Rob Zombie's "H2: Halloween 2" will open nationwide Aug. 28, 2009.
Picking the end of August for a release already paid off for the first remake of "Halloween," which started Aug. 31, 2007 and ended up delivering a $30.5 million opening weekend.
STYD also received a sneak peek at the new Michael Myers mask, which you can check out in the pic to the left. Note that this is just an outline, and definitely not the final mask.

The Weinstein Company's Dimension Films is sticking to the formula that worked the first time and has set an August 28 release date for writer/director Rob Zombie's H2. Zombie's Halloween was released on August 31, 2007 and set a new record for the four-day Labor Day holiday weekend with $30.6 million. It went on to gross $58.3 million domestically and $20.2 million internationally.

Brett Ratner, who it seems is “in talks” for every big studio epic that gets greenlit, is linked today with Nu Image/Millennium Films’ CONAN THE BARBARIAN.

Rob Zombie has announced that Ezra Buzzington has joined the cast of H2, the upcoming sequel to his remake of John Carpenter’s Halloween. The actor will play Ned Atkins - beer delivery man for The Rabbit In Red Club.
Buzzington, who has appeared in Fight Club, Me, Myself & Irene, The Hills Have Eyes and Mirrors, filmed scenes for Zombie’s first Halloween flick but they were excluded from the final cut.
H2 is a direct sequel to the 2007 film, following the aftermath of Michael Myers’ murderous ramp
