Television tries to help and to entertain this weekend.
ABC, CBS and NBC will air "Stand Up to Cancer" at 8 tonight. ABC's Charles Gibson, CBS' Katie Couric and NBC's Brian Williams take part to bolster funding for cancer research. The program will feature dozens of celebrities, including Oscar-winners Meryl Streep, Halle Berry, Forest Whitaker, Charlize Theron, Hilary Swank and Reese Witherspoon.
