Tony Bennett: I love the GQ "Man of the Year" awards cause it's like the "Sexiest Man Alive" but, like, Tony Bennett is in the running. And indeed, there he was (heart, presumably, in San Francisco) last night at British GQ's iteration at London's Royal Opera House, along with Gordon Ramsey, Robert Plant and a bunch of other Brits. And I know it was the gents' night, but man...the distaff side was appalling. I mean, we expect a jolly train wreck from Lily Allen, but Liz Hurley? Thandie Newton? Fasten your seatbelts, it's gonna be a bumpy night. After the jump! The Good: Miranda Kerr was the only straight-up "Good" of the night, and by the time I got to her I was so traumatized I was just braced for some hideous scroll-down Read full story at Jezebel

REVIEW: “RocknRolla” (*1/2)
Short of seeking or citing any legitimate critical opinion, the marketing team behind “RocknRolla,” the fifth feature from Guy Ritchie, have gone to much effort to portray it as a creative comeback for the much-maligned filmmaker. Here in the UK, the words “return to form” are splashed prominently across billboards for the film (set to make its North American bow at the Toronto fest): a frank admission that Ritchie’s last two efforts, “Revolver” and “Swept Away,” were across-

'W.' trailer: Can his expose of George W. Bush get Oliver Stone back in the Oscars derby?
Oliver Stone's newest film, "W.," about the life of the current U.S. commander in chief could well put the three-time Oscar winner back in the derby. As you will see from the trailer, Josh Brolin eerily embodies George W. Bush, just as his father, James, bore a strong resemblance to President Ronald Reagan when he portrayed him in a 2003 TV miniseries. Oscar winners Richard Dreyfuss as Vice President Dick Cheney and Ellen Burstyn as Barbara Bush lend support as do Oscar nominee James Cromwell as Preside

And The GQ Award Winners Were….
It looks as though Lily Allen wasn’t the only celebrity who had one too many alcoholic beverages at the GQ Men of The Year Awards last night. We spotted a distinctly sozzeled looking Liz Hurley slumped in the back of her cab at the end of the evening as she was whisked away from the central London bash…. An absolute plethora of celebrities attended the award ceremony including Gordon Ramsey, comedians Alan Carr and James Corden, Carol Vorderman (hmmm), Boris Johnson, style gurus Trinny and Susannah (*sn

The night even Liz Hurley got squiffy... and she wasn't the only one
Elizabeth Hurley has perfected the art of red carpet glamour. But even she succumbed to the lure of the free bar at last night's star-studded GQ Men of the Year awards and left the event looking uncharacteristically worse for wear. The 43-year-old former actress arrived earlier looking her usual groomed to within an inch of her life self. However, by the time she was seen leaving the bash at the Royal Opera House, she was holding her head in her hands, and sat slightly slumped in her chauffeur driven
