Elisabeth Hasselbeck Would Prefer It If You Just Ignored That Palin/Couric Debacle [Nothing To See Here...]

Joy Behar Says “Sarah Palin is So Dumb”….gasp! (Video)
It was nearly a free-for-all during the opening segment of the ABC morning talk show The View on Wednesday. As is their normal practice, the ladies chimed in on some hot topics and politics was at the forefront. Behar wanted to discuss Katie Couric’s latest interview with Sarah Palin and things quickly got heated.

Rumor Report: Elisabeth Hasselbeck Leaving The View?
Is Elisabeth Hasselbeck leaving The View?
The daytime chatfest's youngest co-host, who can best be described as "shrill," is denying rumors that she's leaving Barbara Walters' table for a position at Fox News Channel. But Fox News would clearly be a more welcoming place for the Republican Hasselbeck, who is often reduced to tears on The View during political discussions with her more liberal co-hosts.
Also, I think Elisabeth's star started falling during Rosie O'Donnell's stint on The View, when Elisabet
Elisabeth Hasselbeck Not Leaving The View
Rumors have been flying fast and furious about Elisabeth Hasselbeck leaving "The View." Supposedly, she was eyeing a host position at Fox News, where she has appeared several times in the last year. The only strongly conservative part of "The View," I worried about Elisabeth leaving. I actually enjoy those first 20 minutes of the show...in fact, I think the Hot Topics on "The View" is some of the best television out there, but that's only if they keep a diverse panel.
Well
Hasselbeck VS. Walters
On "The View" this morning Elisabeth Hasselbeck finally got her chance to tell the country why she thinks Sarah Palin would make a good president and she totally fucked up!
It all started when the hens in the coop started arguing about Palin and Obama's experience and other shit like that. Joy and Elisabeth started going at it and finally Barbara Walters interrupted them and said, "Every single day you never ever say, maybe there's another point, so this is your chance. Tell us now why you think that Sarah
Elisabeth Is Booed, Told Off By Barbara
This, ladies and gentlemen, is why I watch The View morning after morning in hopes of witnessing something amazing. Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the moron who gives Republicans everywhere a bad name, had a minor meltdown during the show's first segment today. She was so beyond help that not even Barbara Walters came to her rescue. The topic, of course, was the idiocy of Sarah Palin, which turned into another session of Elisabeth spouting off nonsensical remarks to defend her beloved McCain/Palin ticket. After
Elisabeth Hasselbeck Denies She is Leaving The View
The View's resident conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who often bangs heads with her liberal co-hosts, is denying reports she's leaving The View for a position at Fox News Channel.
"While Elisabeth [Hasselbeck] has a great relationship with Fox News, there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that she is leaving The View," her agent said in a statement on Thursday. "Elisabeth is passionate in her beliefs and enjoys being a part of this dynamic group of women and engaging in daily conversations."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck “Really Upset With “The View” Co-Hosts Whoopi Goldberg Joy Behar
Elisabeth Hasselbeck continues to fuel rumors that she is planning a mutiny on The View, with the conservative mother-of-two placing noticable distance between herself and her more left-wing co-hosts.
According to The Chicago Sun-Times, Elisabeth is particularly peeved with roundtable residents Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.
A longtime staff member on The View chatfest says, ”It’s not as bad as during the Rosie [O'Donnell] era,” but the presidential election has GOP-er Elisabeth Hasselb
Report: Elisabeth Hasselbeck 'Really Upset' With 'View'
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is ''really upset'' with her "View" co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar about the presidential election, a longtime staff member of the show reportedly told the Chicago Sun-Times.
''It's not as bad as during the Rosie [O'Donnell] era,'' the source added, but said it's bad enough that ''View'' creator Barbara Walters has called a ''cooling off'' meeting between the conservative Hasselbeck and the more liberal Goldberg and Behar.
In July, Hasselbeck was in tears after a discussio

Sarah Palin: Katie Couric 'annoyed' her
A clearly buoyant Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin sat for an interview with Fox News's Carl Cameron in the wake of her vice presidential debate with Sen. Joe Biden which she survived quite well, especially since the expectations for her were pretty much at sea level.
Palin had great things to say about her first and perhaps last meeting with Biden. Listening to what she told Cameron, last night's debate was definitely good times. Here's an excerpt from the rush transcript provided by Fox News with the time codes.
The View September 30th: Bill Maher, Kevin Farley, and Dr. Drew Pinsky
Today on The View, it was the four main hosts, with no Barbara Walters. The first topic was the rejected bailout and the drop in the stock market. Sherri Shepherd said she didn’t understand because she thought they were so close. Joy Behar just got a message from Barack Obama saying that he will suggest later today to increase the FDIC limit to $250,000. Elisabeth Hasselbeck said that you want the right package to pass and she hopes the people we elected are thinking about the people and not polit
Hillary Clinton: Palin "Composed, Effective" During Debate
Hillary Clinton is weighing in on Thursday's vice presidential debate.
In a phone interview Friday on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show, she said, "[Democratic Sen.] Joe Biden was great. He put forward a flawless performance. I, like probably everybody else watching, was so moved by the authentic grief that caught in his throat when he talked about his own personal experience." (During the debate, Biden got choked up while recalling a car accident that killed his wife and daughter and injured his sons.)
Sarah Palin Discussion Blows Up on The View - Video
The women talked about Sarah Palin this morning and it got a little hairy. The first yucky moment was when Joy Behar called Palin “stupid,” then Whoopi Goldberg said that Palin made a mistake and then things got a little interesting. Of course, Elisabeth Hasselbeck was antagonistic but Barbara Walters tried to be the voice of reason. Babs said that it bothers her that Palin has to “cram” to prepare for a debate then, predictably, took offense and attacked Barack Oba
Rumor: Elisabeth Hasselbeck is Still Unhappy at View
The rumors have not died down that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is unhappy at The View. The Chicago Sun-Times reported on September 29th that Elisabeth is “really upset” with co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar and that Barbara Walters called a ”cooling off” meeting to “keep a lid on things.”
I realize that this is not much of an update of previous rumors, but thought I would post it anyway. Especially since the tipster was my dad. Thanks for the link, Daddy!

Palin-Biden debate: Tied, No. 2 all-time
The debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden last night tied for the second-most-watched presidential or vice presidential debate of all time, Nielsen now reports.
Only Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter in 1980 outdrew these two -- with the 1990 presidential debate drawing 80 million viewers
Palin and Biden drew a national audience of 69.9 million -- matching the second debate among Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and H. Ross Perot in 1992,
And of course, the 2008 running mates drew 17.5 mil
Elizabeth Hasselbeck leaving The View?
All is not going that well on The View. Elizabeth Hasselbeck, he only political conservative on the panel, is fed up with her very liberal co-hots Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar over the Presidential election.
After a well publicized spat with former co-host Rosie O’Donnell that often created an uncomfortable show to watch and an incident earlier this year where Hasselbeck broke down over the use of the N-word it is easy to see why she isn’t happy. She is the easy target for the more establis
Rosie O'Donnell to Return to TV
Rosie O'Donnell is set to return to television -- as a host of a live variety show on NBC, the network said Thursday.
O'Donnell will host Rosie's Variety Show -- an hour-long special the night before Thanksgiving.
If the show turns out to be successful, NBC will likely commission a full series.
NBC vice president alternative Craig Plestis said, "This will reinvent the idea of what a variety show is for 2008.
"There's very few performers willing to put themselves out there live. It makes it more TiVo-pro
The View October 2nd Recap: Greg Kinnear, Kim Kardashian, and Mark Ballas
Today on the October 2nd episode of The View, it was the four main co-hosts and no Barbara Walters. The first topic was Joy Behar’s continued annoyance with people peeing on the bathroom seat at the studio. Sherri Shepherd thinks someone is trying to get at her and is doing it on purpose. Joy made some signs to hang up like “Don’t Pee Where You Sit,” “I Won’t Take This Sitting Down” and “Aim or Die.” The other hosts are scared to use the bathroom bec
Sarah Palin Was Annoyed. Oh, THAT'S Why She Sucked
Here's a little snippet of an interview Sarah Palin did with Fox News. She responds to why she did so crappy in those Katie Couric interviews. It wasn't because she's stupid. She was mad. Yeah, that's the ticket. Vote! Who Won Last Night's Debate?
According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. 51 percent of those who watched Thursday's vice presidential debates thought Democratic Sen. Joe Biden did the best job, while 36 percent thought Republican Gov. Sarah Palin packed a better punch.
But 54 percent of respondents said Palin -- who peppered her arguments about energy, the economy and global warming with folksy phrases like "doggone it" and "betcha" -- was more likable (36 percent voted for Biden).
84 percent of the people polled said Palin did a b
