Music: The Battle of the Queens
The battle is on between Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner, and it all started with Beyonce. Remember when Beyonce called Turner “the queen” at the Grammys? Franklin went off and called it “a cheap shot for controversy.” Last week, Turner attempted to put out the flames when USA Today asked her about it. She said while Franklin is the queen of soul, she can be the queen of Rock and Roll. But she also added that Franklin’s “ego must be so big to think she was the only one,
Wig Fight! Aretha vs Tina
During the Grammy’s, Beyonce introduced Tina Turner as “The Queen.” When Aretha Franklin heard that she got upset, so upset that she released a statement announcing and reminding everyone that she has always been known as the “Queen of Soul.”

Aretha Franklin -- McLovin' It
Aretha Franklin had a mid-day itchin' for two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions and a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
The Queen of Soul's ride was spotted under the Golden Arches in D.C. yesterday, and although she didn't go in, our McSpies say someone in her crew made a food run for a Big Mac & fries combo. The details on the drink are sketchy -- she either had an orange drink or an iced coffee. Either way, it was delicious.
No word on if Aretha Super Sized the meal.
